motorcycle ride in support of troops that was canceled due to weather is now re-scheduled

Finally the south steps of the Capitol in Austin TX. were covered with American flags and support the troops signs. Lots of support for President Bush. It was thrilling after so long of just a few of us meeting to support the troops to see the place covered with flags, cheering people and many saying we won't be silent any more.

I have been asked by many family members and others what items our deployed servicemen and women would find useful and appropriate for a "Care Package" or as better-than-issued equipment. With extensive deployed operations expected to continue for the foreseeable future, our troops will require, and deserve, continued support from those of us for whom they are fighting. Regardless of your position on any particular mission, these men and women are doing their duty to you and our country, going in harm's way and sometimes making the ultimate sacrifice. Just another way to propagate widespread support for the men and women in the trenches. A friend directed me to a new song written by a relatively unknown artist in support of our Troops.
