Sorry...I didn't have a camera. Hoping to scan a picture from our local rag newspaper. Did you see the headline on today's Tribune(al)? The headline "FAMILIES FLEE ..." do they say they are fleeing the Iraquis who have been brutalizing them? NOOOOOO. It says "FAMILIES FLEE BOMBING".

Then below it a small picture of a mom of one of our heroes who was at the rally. It is so obvious the bias in my opinion...

I have been pushing my parents (hard) to cancel their Tribune subscription, but they love the local news. At least I got them watching FoxNews and they love it.

I loath the South Bend Tribune. I can't stress that enough. The young punk editor they got a few years ago is quite the partisan Leftist, as well as an egomaniac.

For me, it was the first source that I proved to my own satisfaction that there was a liberal bais growing up. Then I would read it the next day thinking maybe I over reacted and Tribune would insult my intelligence and slap me in the face again.

Best of luck out there, and do it again! My family will go to another one if they get some advanced noticed. My Mom choked up describing your scene on TV, you must have done a great job. Go ahead and send those photos right to the Trib, just don't send originals because the odds of them being lost are statistically high.

Thanks for the words of encouragement. I realized how biased the media was here during the Presidential election. The newspeople at WNDU were starting the morning news saying that Michigan had gone to Al SNore. Seeing as I had been up until 3 am and the no-longer major networks were still calling the election "TOO CLOSE TO CALL" I was amazed that WNDU thought they would get away with their lies.

I almost feel sorry for the poor idiot at WNDU that answered the telephone that morning while I reamed her out about slanting the news and throwing the election. I never thought I would see myself foam at the mouth but that is how angry I was....then, I called the other networks and asked that they at least let it be a FAIR election and not to call the results until AFTER THE POLLS had closed. They were really great and seemed to keep the promise that day.

My poor husband loves the WNDU morning show but I still won't watch it......a bunch of well-dressed fascists if you ask me!!

Sorry to rant but it is so frustrating...
