GLASGOW, Scotland — United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres says the goal of limiting global warming to 2.7 F is “on life support” as UN climate talks enter their final days, but he added that “until the last moment, hope should be maintained.” In an exclusive interview on Thursday with The Associated Press, Guterres said the negotiations set to end Friday in Glasgow, Scotland, will “very probably” not yield the carbon-cutting pledges he has said are needed to keep the planet from warming beyond the 1.5-degree threshold. So far, the talks have not come close to achieving any of the UN’s...

It appears that some Republican lawmakers aren’t exactly exerting themselves to support Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) after the news broke that he is under investigation for allegedly sex trafficking and having inappropriate relations with a 17-year-old girl. Their reticence to speak on Gaetz’s behalf could indicate they are simply being cautious and waiting until all of the facts come out. But it seems more likely that their silence on the matter is motivated by the lawmaker’s staunch support for former President Donald Trump and his efforts against the GOP establishment. The Hill reported:Few of Gaetz’s GOP colleagues are coming to the...

USA Today sports columnist Nancy Armour recently claimed that NFL star Tom Brady gets away with his mild support of President Trump because he is white. Left-wing sports writers have been trying to cancel Brady since the day a Donald Trump campaign hat was seen in his locker five years ago. The six-time Super Bowl winner also noted several times that he is friends with Trump. Still, Brady was never highly motivated by politics, and unlike other NFL players, he has never made loud political proclamations a central point of his public persona.

A new Party? Why? We already own the old one. With the victory of Donald Trump we saw the result of the Conservative movement that started with the TEA party effort some years ago. All that remains is to clear out the old deadwood that clings to the bottom of the ship. Look at the big map, a lot of red on there. And with the wind of change that Donald Trump has brought with him, we should be able to clean house right down to the local dog catcher.. But .. and yes there is a but ... Trump has...
