Ann Romney, wife of Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney, spoke to the Republican National Convention about the former Massachusetts governor not as a politician, but as a husband and father. She told the crowd and a prime-time audience about their 43-year marriage, one of real struggles and experiences, including her battles with multiple sclerosis and breast cancer, and nothing of the storybook tale that people imagine. Ann Romney also talked about his role as a father to five sons, and grandfather to 18 grand-kids The GOP hoped her speech would help undecided and other voters (especially women) better relate to...

The buzz is that Ann Romney's speech was off the charts and that Chris Christie's speech was moderately good but didn't have the red meat people wanted. I tend to disagree. Christie's speech was fantastic but in a much more subtle way. He showed the stark differences. Thoughts?

Who is Mitt Romney? If Americans didn’t know who he was before, they know now. Tuesday night at the RNC convention in Tampa, Mrs. Ann Romney destroyed the stereotype of an out-of-touch Romney family. She entered the Tampa Bay Times forum to a roaring and standing crowd with many chanting, “We love you Ann!” Romney spoke directly to a struggling America. She told them personal stories about her struggles with breast cancer, living with MS and raising five children. She spoke of the love her husband has given her through more than 40 years of marriage. “I want to talk...

The Fox commentator said tonight — in remarks that are sure to draw comparisons from conservatives to Hilary Rosen's snipe that Ann Romney “didn't work a day in her life” — that Ann Romney “looks to me like a corporate wife. The stories she told about struggles are hard for me to believe. I mean, she's a very rich women.” CLICK ABOVE LINK FOR THE VIDEO

Years ago I visited the Soviet Union before the collapse of Communism and witnessed how young Russian and Ukrainian children were expected to walk around with little pins showing Baby Lenin, the communist analogy to Baby Jesus, on their gray, poorly designed clothing. I was reminded of Baby Lenin pins when I ran across the newest initiative in the leftist brainwashing of the preschool set, "Why Mommy is a Democrat," a book being promoted to turn Barney fans into drooling Democrats and Pro-Terror Power Rangers. Its publishers proclaim that the book helps draw toddlers and young children to the...

Wicked witch of Left: how Hillary became a storybook villain By James Langton (Filed: 09/10/2005) A children's picture book for conservatives whose villains include Hillary Clinton and Senator Ted Kennedy has become the surprise publishing hit of the year. Sales of Help! Mom! There are Liberals Under My Bed! have rivalled even the latest Harry Potter novel, with the book racing up the best-seller charts after it was published two weeks ago. 'Congresswoman Clunkton' Written by Katharine DeBrecht, a mother of three, it tells the story of two young brothers who try to make money from a lemonade stall but...
