Today brings with it yet another “the First Amendment can be suspended in the name of ‘safety'” story, and it might not surprise you to know that it has something to do with California authorities removing a “TRUMP” sign: Maybe the Trump supporter should have instead put the sign ON the highway and called it a protest: Local authorities said that because the sign was on private property, it was just taken down but not removed: Lauren Wonder, chief public information officer for Caltrans, told the Los Angeles Times that the sign was on private property. For that reason, Wonder...

Asking all Freepers In AZ all Trump Pence signs are disappearing. Most of them overnight, some last 2-3 days. None last a week. It must be an organized effort to get all the Trump signs. It is not just some vandalism as usual, it is an effort to seek and steal all the signs. Apparently some guys running around in the night? I heard it is statewide. Does this happens anywhere else? I heard Texas? What to do?

Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. Ephesians 4:29 (King James Version) While the 2020 piles higher and deeper it is time to win the election. Rather than fighting with the animals in the street it is time to go to the streets day to day night to night. If they are going to pull the mail in voting tactics then it is time to exploit its one weakness which is thirty days or in this case forty-five days of...

A Massachusetts man says he built an electric fence around his Trump lawn sign to stop people from removing it after repeated thefts. John Oliveira, a 54-year-old disabled veteran and local school committee member, told The Standard-Times this month that the move was intended to protect his First Amendment rights. “I’m defending my property and my right to free speech,” he said. “This is about my right to free speech, period.” Oliveira said his neighbors may complain about the electric fence but he defended the decision, saying the sign outside his home in New Bedford “hasn’t been touched in two...

Some people have seen some young guys shouting "Trump lies" and proudly destroying the signs. McSally signs seem to share the same fate. BTW Democratic signs seem all OK. So for the Democrats to claim the moral ground! Please, how can we protect the signs? Please, need some help!

Jan Jekielek at the Epoch Times held an exceptional interview with General Michael Flynn’s attorney Sidney Powell a week ago where Powell’s entire timeline in regards to the government’s sham case against General Flynn was discussed. This powerful interview is worth your time because it outlines the massive corruption surrounding the Flynn case that goes on to this day. We asked a week ago – What is Judge Emmet Sullivan waiting for?General Michael Flynn was lied to, set up multiple times before and after the Trump inauguration, excessively and to the point of illegally unmasked, targeted, ambushed in the White House,...

While this may not produce more than a few ripples on the pond of the global warming discussion, I wanted to point everyone to a great article from our friend Jeff Dunetz that touches on this subject. For some time now (dating back to the Obama administration) there were signs posted at Glacier National Park warning tourists that they would need to snap their glacier selfies quickly because the massive ice formations would all be gone by 2020. Well, it’s nearly the middle of 2019 and not only are the aforementioned glaciers not gone, most of them are actually growing.With...

A sign alluding to a historical massacre of Jews was carried openly at the annual al-Quds Day hatefest in downtown Toronto on Saturday afternoon, the B’nai Brith of Canada reported Sunday. The sign depicts the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem and warns that, “The last Khayber is ready,” an allusion to an ancient battle in which a Muslim army defeated and slaughtered Jews in the Arabian Peninsula. It also predicts the coming of “the last Hayder,” a nickname for Ali, the leading figure in Shi’a [Shi’ite] Islam. Shi’a [Shi’ite] clerics are among the speakers and organizers of the Toronto...

BROOKLYN CENTER, Minn. (KMSP) - Brooklyn Center police have identified a suspect after someone rearranged the letters of an Arby’s sign so it contained two offensive words. The sign above an Arby’s restaurant in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota reportedly contained a racist and a sexist word on it, prompting a police investigation Sep. 1. Photos submitted by Fox 9 viewers showed the sign, which read “Now Hiring” across the top. Underneath that line, however, a racial slur and a sexist word were both displayed. Thursday, Brooklyn Center Police charged Usindini Christopher Colling-Harper, 19, of Minneapolis for the crime. He admitted to...

Lynette Scribner witnessed an incredible story unfold on Alaska Airlines. A man named Tim was flying out of Boston on Alaska Airlines. He was deaf and blind. His sister brought him to the airport and was signing into his hand, and he could feel her words. He had a middle seat on the aircraft, but when he boarded the man in the aisle happily switched places. Flight attendants were happy to help him but couldn’t communicate. He touched their faces and their arms. They took his hand. She reports that “[h]e had some verbal ability, but clearly could not understand...

A new mural calling for the dismantling of “whiteness†has sparked controversy at the University of Southern California. The mural, part of a USC Visions and Voices “Off the Wall†series of multi-media installation, features the images of four women and with the words “Dismantle whiteness and misogyny on this campus†plastered above, The College Fix reported. The controversial mural was erected by the school’s Institute for Diversity and Empowerment (IDEA) and students from a class called “Women: Designing Media for Social Change†in partnership with When Women Disrupt, a self-proclaimed intersectional feminist artist collective and activist group. They define...

Police in Maryland say this was just the start of it: A 1997 Ford Crown Victoria, traveling in front of an officer early Friday morning, veered off a highway and struck a large traffic sign in Montgomery County. Next: A wooden support post from the sign became impaled in the Ford’s front windshield, sticking up and back more than five feet, like a misplaced lance. Yet the driver kept going, refusing to stop even as lights and sirens flashed behind him. “He was lucky no one was killed,” said Officer Rick Goodale, a Montgomery police spokesman. The driver, Omar Rasharn...

While politicians are embroiled in a polarized national debate over immigration, an iconic road sign cautioning drivers near the San Diego border to watch for migrants running across the highway has quietly disappeared. The "immigrant crossing" signs have become obsolete, said Cathryne Bruce-Johnson, a spokeswoman for Caltrans. The transportation department stopped replacing the signs years ago because it constructed fences along medians to deter people from running across highways. The last sign, which stood on the side of Interstate 5 near the San Ysidro border crossing, vanished in September. "It's gone," Bruce-Johnson said. "Caltrans crews did not remove it,...

WASHINGTON—Some high-income business owners could face marginal tax rates exceeding 100% under the Senate’s tax bill, far beyond the listed tax rates in the Republican plan. That means a business owner’s next $100 in earnings, under certain circumstances, would require paying more than $100 in additional federal and state taxes. As lawmakers rush to write the final tax bill over the next week, they already are looking at changes to prevent this from happening. Broadly, House and Senate Republicans are trying to reconcile the bills they passed, looking for ways to pay for eliminating the most contentious proposals. The formal...
