First, Sarah Palin is one of us, not one of them. Second, the country needs a healer – someone who can rise above the mass media's hate-fueled attacks while working to bring sanity back to government and ideological balance back to both major parties. Sarah Palin can do this: she's a deeply committed conservative who has consistently shown, and not just as governor and McCain's running mate, but throughout her personal and political life, both an ability to work with the other side and a willingness to listen to others. Third, Palin is electable – whether she takes Scott Walker,...

If Sarah is flirting, I was seduced a long time ago! For everyone who doesn't want Romney, this is huge! It's only in the modern era that Presidential nominations have been locked up before most American voters even tuned in. So this year, for the nation, the Republican Primary is kind of a return to older times, when all Americans counted, not just the few power brokers. The race has been a very rich blue blood from New England ( where he would not carry one state in the general election ) and a group of three, Newt, Rick and...

Many have truly lost interest in the Republican primary and its "candidates." None appear fully acceptable, all have major faults and excess baggage that could easily cause them to lose to an absolutely unre-electable sitting president. While polls are often flawed and many are absolutely biased, I have seen a consistent trend that any particular GOP candidate VS Obama consistently loses, given a choice between "Any Republican" and Obama, the Republican wins handily. What this means is that the majority of voters, about 75% in the GOP in fact, are totally unhappy with the choices offered. It is my considered...

Pundits who once pronounced Republican voters satisfied with the field of presidential contenders may have spoken too soon. Herman Cain’s difficulties in handling a flurry of sexual harassment accusations–albeit launched by an overzealous, unfair mainstream media–have shaken confidence in his candidacy. Gov. Mitt Romney’s increasingly bold policy pronouncements may be too little, too late to convince the conservative base. Gov. Rick Perry seems to have faded, and Newt Gingrich’s recent rise may not be big enough to establish him as the latest alternative to Romney. The other candidates are still trying to break into double digits, but aside from Ron...

The Associated Press reported that the crowd was “about 1,000″ and that the fundraiser helped “‘raise almost as much as the Democrats reported pulled in for the entire last quarter.’”

Take with a HUGE grain of salt… Huge. Conservative talk show host, Dr Gina Louden, says that she has “information from a reliable source,” that former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is reconsidering a run for the White House in 2012. Sarah Palin announced on October 5, that she would not be running in 2012 and that she would not run third party. With the recent fire storm that has hit Herman Cain about sexual harassment charges and with Romney being a complete RINO, a Palin entrance would be pretty awesome right now. You can listen to audio of Dr. Gina...

My first and probably last vanity. Picture a crowd of people gathered for a political rally. The speaker gives out the old bromide "Why are we here?" The crowd replies in a frenzy. "We want change!" Is this Occupy or a college campus? No, it's Free Republic. Let's face it, we all admire our favorite candidates in the Republican field. They all have their strengths and weaknesses, don't we all. The real problem is that they're unable to differentiate themselves from each other, in a defining manner. Considering the trampling of rights, unemployment, regulation, immigration, crime, education (lack of and...

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has not spoken to close allies in recent days and is set to break her own self-imposed deadline of the end of September to make a decision on a presidential run. Becky Beach, Palin’s top fundraiser in Iowa and a close friend who is usually kept in the loop on the former governor’s plans, told The Hill that she had not heard from Palin in weeks about whether or not she would run in 2012. “I don’t have any idea of her decision or her timing. The only thing I’ve heard her say is that...

I saw the GOP debate and the Greta interview with Palin and Bachman. I am absolutely against Perry's mandate of the Gardasil vaccine. On policy grounds. Period. But, to see the two ladies pile on with corruption charges against Perry was truly disgusting. If they have any proof that Perry mandated the vaccine to profit Merck, I am the first one who wants it. And, if proof emerges that he did so, I will be the first one to revoke my support for him. It happens in the industry all the time. Acquaintances get you an audience. So, in this...

"Obama lies, economy dies. He says "default's catastrophic" then opposes deal to avert it. Nonsense. Gold stars to GOP trying to deal w/this."

<p>Decision day is rapidly approaching for Sarah Palin, and for the first time the former Alaska governor has indicated a time frame for when she will make a decision about whether to run for president.</p>
<p>"You know, August and September, you do have to start laying out a plan if you are to be one to throw your hat in the ring, so that's basically the time frame," Palin told Sean Hannity during an appearance Wednesday night on Fox News.</p>

I’m sure the list is even longer in reality but these 43 people have some explaining to do if/when Governor Palin runs for the presidency. I have a feeling that these 43 people will just move on to a back-up explanation if/when they are proven wrong. What’s worse is that many of these 43 people are “objective political analysts,” rather than just bloggers like you and me. I get the sense that many of the “objective political analysts” on this list will face no punishment if/when their assessment on Governor Palin is proven wrong and they will continue to opine...

Former half-term Gov. Sarah Palin has reportedly packed in her bus tour...halfway through. Real Clear Politics is reporting that Palin and her family have returned to Alaska from their "One Nation" bus tour, despite tentatively scheduled stops in Iowa and South Carolina. From Scott Conroy at RCP: Though Palin and her staff never announced a timeline for the remaining legs of her trip, aides had drafted preliminary itineraries that would have taken her through the Midwest and Southeast at some point this month. But those travel blueprints are now in limbo, RCP has learned, as Palin and her family have...

On the day of the release of “Undefeated”, the new Sarah Palin movie, The Stakes are high indeed It’s an amazing, somewhat frightening time that we live in today. We are witnessing the slow but steady collapse of the US economic system that’s been in place since the end of WW2. Does anyone really think that gas prices won’t continue to rise? Energy prices won’t “necessarily skyrocket”? Housing prices won’t continue to crater? Foreclosures won’t continue to blight the entire housing market? On the World stage, the Arab Spring has become a scary echo of Europe circa 1938, with Jews...

On May 18, 2011 I offered 50 reasons why Sarah Palin will run for President of the United States in 2012. Here is the link to the first 50: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/2721469/posts Well, here are another 25 reasons: 51)Buying a house in Arizona and Sarah Palin later saying in an interview she is NOT running for the US Senate to replace Jon Kyl 52)The 2012 GOP primary race has evolved or will evolve even more into a two-person showdown where the conventional wisdom will become that only Mitt Romney or Sarah Palin will be capable of winning the GOP nomination next year....

Coming off her week-long One Nation bus tour that was widely seen as a test-run for a presidential campaign, Sarah Palin says she’s starting to see that running for president might not be the best fit for her. “Not only do I love my freedom of not having a title and being a declared candidate — that is liberating — I know you can make a difference as an individual,” she said. “Hopefully, I can inspire others to know that you don’t need a title. You don’t need to be in office to effect positive change.”

As reported by The Hill, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin met with FOX NEWS executives in New York. "Right now there is no change in her status with Fox News," said Bill Shine, the network's vice president of programming. "RIGHT NOW"! There are no details about the meeting obviously, but as is obvious from that quote, the door seems quite open to Palin making a run. All of the pundits have said she is not running and her worst critics have said she's just seeking attention. Sarah Palin has defied punditry on many occasions, so this could be the best...

The Republican race to get the 2012 nomination has barely begun, yet it already has its fair share of casualties who have fallen by the wayside. First, there was Haley Barbour, the good ol' boy Mississippi governor, who was widely expected to run – even by his own staff – right up until the moment he pulled out. Then, Donald Trump's bizarre campaign fired itself. Finally, Mike Huckabee, who topped a lot of Republican polls and was favourite to win Iowa, declared: "All the factors say go, but my heart says no." Which leads one to wonder: who might be...

Yesterday, when writing about the fallout from Mike Huckabee’s decision not to run for president, I picked Michelle Bachmann as the candidate who might benefit the most from this turn of events. But I also noted that this was predicated on Sarah Palin’s not running. The deathly quiet from her camp about a 2012 campaign is encouraging presidential hopefuls and pundits alike to think that she is staying out of the race. But it is also frustrating her fans. A visit to Conservatives4palin, one of her leading fan websites, shows that the former Alaska governor’s followers are still hoping that...

I know this sounds a little out there, and I hope I don't get flamed (I'm putting on the safety suit anyway), but what if Sarah Palin doesn't run ? I'm not saying she won't, I'm not hoping she won't, If she does, I fully intend to support her, but what if she does not run? Who would you support in the primary then ? Personally, I'd probably go with Michelle Bachman, but I know some would support Huckabee (personally, I'm not a fan of his), some would support Romney (and I will NEVER ever support him), others might choose...
