Who really cared about Jeffrey Epstein? He was, above all, a bipartisan pedophilic blackmailer, and his client lists are, and shall remain, buried in the deepest vaults of the Uniparty. Among the powerful elite of both parties, Epstein's awkward passing was clucked about all around D.C., with great indignation, loudly, as to drown out a communal sigh of relief. A finding of suicide, no matter how absurdly improbable, was broadly proclaimed to be a certainty. But, while the brand of bipartisanship found among established Republicans in Washington (defined as we-pretend-to-compromise-while-you-win) cannot embrace Donald Trump any more than the Democrats can,...

"The View" co-host Whoopi Goldberg wondered on Monday if "we need to see White people get beat up" to see meaningful police reform before clarifying that she was "not suggesting that" following the death of Tyre Nichols. "Do we need to see White people also get beat before anybody will do anything? I’m not suggesting that. So don’t write us and tell me what a racist I am. I’m just asking is that what people have to see in order to wake up and realize this affects us all?" Goldberg asked.

Yoel Roth, who no longer works at Twitter, claims that satire is dangerous and that Libs of TikTok and The Babylon Bee are dangerous. Roth was intimately involved in the effort to censor the New York Post’s exclusive stories on Hunter Biden’s shady foreign business dealings ahead of the 2020 election. Twitter prevented users from sharing the story publicly and from privately messaging the link to other users. Mainstream publications, including the Washington Post and the New York Times, later confirmed the authenticity of much of the content derived from the computer, which was abandoned at a Delaware repair shop...

While many people will celebrate America's independence with cookouts and fireworks, the Tucson Women’s March will host a "F*** the 4th" event. The Pima County Democratic Party drew backlash on Twitter after posting a graphic for the event before deleting it Friday, while continuing to encourage followers to attend, citing the need to protest the recent Supreme Court decision that scrapped the nationwide right to an abortion. "We were eager to share the event, and in our haste, we used the graphic provided by the event organizer. That was a mistake, and we will do better," the local party branch...

How did neoconservatives get their name?It started out as an insult. The founders of the movement were liberal intellectuals who became disenchanted with the direction of the American left during the 1960s and 1970s. Their original goal was to reform the Democratic Party from within. But mainstream leftists scoffed at these people who called themselves new, or neo-, liberals, saying it was more apt to call them neo-conservatives. The first neocons soon embraced the name. To them the prefix highlighted the fact that while they had once been leftists, they now had a new orientation. Irving Kristol, the godfather of...
