Last week, the arm of the Republican Party charged with maintaining a majority in Congress targeted U.S. Rep. Russ Carnahan with a round of robocalls to his constituents. The calls, as the blog PoliticsMO puts it, were programmed to do something that Carnahan is not — run in his Third Congressional district. That district, of course, was eliminated this spring when Republican lawmakers in Jefferson City redrew the state's Congressional map. Since then, Carnahan has indulged in a Summer of Indecision, raising tens of thousands of dollars for a campaign without a destination. Carnahan has insisted he wants to stay...

On Wednesday after the November 2 midterm elections, members of the St. Louis Tea Party – and two Russ Carnahan campaign staffers- assembled outside the St. Louis Board of Elections to protest alleged voter fraud in the 2010 midterm election between Ed Martin and Russ Carnahan.

Democrat Congressman Russ Carnahan was speaking at a rally about our Social Security system. After bashing President Bush for half a minute, Carnahan decided to say "the social security system has been stable for 75 years. It has one of the most efficient ratings in terms of any agency." The crowd erupted in laughter.

ST. LOUIS -- Republicans have been running all summer with the wind at their backs -- now the fall breeze has offered the Missouri GOP a boost, too, in the form of a stimulus gust blowing towards the opposition. The $107 million in stimulus cash awarded to Tom Carnahan, however, couldn't have come at a worse time for his siblings, both of whom are on the ballot in November.

According to Gateway Pundit, the person who set fire to an office of a Democrat, Rep. Russ Carnahan, is a fellow Democrat. Reportedly, the arsonist is a disgruntled employee of the congressman and a lefty blogger at Talking Points Memo. A televison station in St. Louis, KMOV, is saying that the terrorist -- yes, that's what he is -- has been arrested. If so, what exactly were the charges? Is he now in jail? And, where is the mug shot? It's safe to say that if the culprit were a Republican, the details of his arrest, along with his mug...

The 17th Amendment is stupid: The Senate of the United States shall be composed of two Senators from each State, elected by the people thereof, for six years…. But let me start at the beginning. Article I § 3 cl. 1 of the Constitution originally established the election of Senators through the state legislatures. The Federalist #62 laid out numerous arguments for the Constitutional framework of the Senate and its method of selection. The senatorial trust, which, requiring greater extent of information and stability of character, requires at the same time that the senator should have reached a period of...

By the way: I would call Russ Carnahan 'inbred,' but that's an insult to endogamists. Let us start by watching what happened SUNDAY. This is via Gateway Pundit - who, by the way, was there and who was a spokesman: Got it? Low-key prayer vigil, coffin brought in for staged funeral of Constitution, old people crying, coffin then removed. Now let’s see how Politico referenced it: A coffin was placed on a Missouri Democrat’s lawn, another in a string of incidents against lawmakers after their vote Sunday on a health care overhaul.Rep. Russ Carnahan (D-Mo.) had a coffin placed “near...

Union Violence: An African-American is beaten up at a political rally by thugs shouting racial epithets, and after three months his assailants are charged with the moral equivalent of jaywalking. Why wasn't it a hate crime? The beating of Kenneth Gladney by people wearing the purple shirts of the Service Employees International Union outside a Missouri health care town hall meeting three months ago met all the classic definitions of a hate crime. Time was, the beating of a black man outside a protest rally, and the arrest and prosecution of the perpetrators, would be headline news. Gladney was working...

On Aug. 6, the same day the White House told its supporters to “punch back twice as hard,” black conservative Kenneth Gladney found himself at the receiving end of several of those punches. He was beaten by a group of thugs from the Service Employees International Union after they found him selling conservative memorabilia outside Bernard Middle School, the site of of a South St. Louis County health care town hall meeting hosted by ultra-liberal Rep. Russ Carnahan (D-Mo.).

The man expected to become the AFL-CIO's next president said Monday that lawmakers will pay a price if they abandon a government-run option in any health care overhaul. "We need to be a labor movement that stands by our friends, punishes its enemies and challenges those who, well, can't seem to decide which side they're on," said Richard Trumka, currently the AFL-CIO's secretary-treasurer. The threats came less than a month after a protester outside an Aug. 6 health care forum meeting organized by Rep. Russ Carnahan, D-Mo., was sent to the hospital after a beating inflicted by goons wearing SEIU...

The approach of Missouri represenatives to dealing with the outcry against the health care bill has run the gamut. In St. Louis, Rep. Russ Carnahan has held three disastrous public events. In Lee’s Summit, Rep. Emanuel Cleaver — no doubt influenced by the experiences of Carnahan and others — held a “tele-town hall” and a morning coffee, taking no questions from the audience, all the while insisting that “there is no health care bill” to talk about anyway. It appears Ike Skelton has one-upped them both. He hasn’t held, and apparently might not hold, any public meetings on the matter....

Leadership: Scores of congressmen and women are trying to hide from their constituents this August recess as the revolt over ObamaCare continues. If you haven't seen him or her lately, you might try your refrigerator.IBD Exclusive Series: Government-Run Healthcare: A Prescription For FailureIt's amazing how frightened of the community the party of the great community organizer has become now that the community has organized itself against his attempt to impose socialized medicine on the country. They cheered when he told them to get in the faces of their opponents. Now they won't show their faces, period. Senate Majority Whip Dick...

August 10, 2009 Figures... Leftists Hurl Racist Insults at Black Man After Horrible Beating On Thursday night, Kenneth Gladney was beaten, kicked and called racist names by Russ Carnahan's SEIU supporters after a town hall meeting in Mehlville, Missouri. Now, the Left is mocking him. The racists at Fire Dog Lake lead the charge with this racist photo of Kenneth the silly black man in a wheelchair: [Pic in URL: Warning] The title of their post says it all: Kenneth the Teabagging Drama Queen (Updated) Not only do these racists mock Kenneth's fragile condition after the beating he endured from...

It’s the recession and I needed a job. So I went searching for employment at Craiglist until I found something that looked promising: “Professional Protesters Wanted. $20 per hour, free Brooks Brothers suit provided, and bus transportation to work sites. Call Karl R.†I called Karl R and made arrangements to meet the next day at a hotel penthouse. Karl R was a balding guy with glasses. He sat in a darkened room and the desk light shining in my eyes made it difficult to see him in greater detail. “So all I have to do is show up at...

Here is video of Missouri Democrat Rep. Russ Carnahan holding a "secret press conference" this morning with selected members of the media to talk about the chaotic Town Hall Meeting in St. Louis yesterday. A conservative African-American man was beaten by SEIU Union thugs outside the meeting. This video shows a local radio personality who was not invited to Carnahan's secret conference showing up anyway! He nails Carnahan repeatedly on the attack. Carnahan does not come across as very capable in the poor way he tries to answer the questions. Gateway Pundit has all the details. . . . ....

But it's conservatives who engage in violence and hate speech, right? The Saint Louis Post-Dispatch is reporting that one of their own, reporter Jake Wagman, was one of six people arrested in connection with the beating of a conservative activist outside of a town hall forum held by Democrat Congressman Russ Carnahan. According to Dawn Majors, a Post-Dispatch photojournalist who witnessed everything unfold, an officer said that Wagman had been "interfering."

Over 1,000 St. Louis Tea Party Taxpayers showed up to attend the Russ Carnahan town hall meeting in South St. Louis. They were Locked Out! But... The Carnahah staff was sneaking in SIEU members in the side door marked "handicapped."

A member of the St. Louis Tea Party was physically attacked by union thugs. The sick thing is it looks like he was attacked because of the color of his skin.
