In search of financiers for a 2024 presidential run, former Gov. Chris Christie will speak at a private donor event in Texas on Friday. The Texas Tribune reported that Christie is one of eight potential candidates invited to attend the meeting, organized by former Bush White House advisor Karl Rove and hosted by Gov.
