Rima Fakih, the 2010 Miss USA who made headlines by becoming the beauty pageant’s first Muslim winner, is converting to Christianity. Fakih, who is from Michigan and is now 30, will marry Maronite Christian music producer Wassim Salibi later this month, according to Christian Today.

Former Miss USA Rima Fakih, 26, was serving as a designated driver Saturday night for herself and a companion, but realised only after she was behind the wheel that she, too, was intoxicated, her lawyer said. The beauty queen was arrested Saturday on suspicion of drunk driving in a suburb of Detroit, Michigan.

She is on Fox ushering in the New Year with Bill and Meghan right now. Amazing how these Lebanese Armenian, or Lebanese Muslim chicks are becoming bigtime. Granted, they are nice to look at, other than that, they really must subscribe to ANYTHING is better than dating a Muslim man or they would still be in Muslim countries where they were born living the Muslim Dream, NO?

BadEagle.com certainly has no particular expectation of Rima Fakih in the way of American values. She appears to be nothing more than a Muslim mascot. Certainly, her reference to Barry “Obama” Soetoro for validation of the U.S. Constitution shows us the depth of her understanding. (Unfortunately, many Americans these days have no deeper thoughts. They think America is based on religious freedom. Or, more inaccurately, they think religious freedom means Islam is in harmony with American values. Worse, they think Muslims are welcome here. They think Islam is a wonderful religion of peace, why, just like Christianity.

Here are a few clues for the idiots who buy into her BS: Islam is not (about) extremists. They’re not who we are. Riiiiight. First of all, Fakih is a Shi’ite Muslim. The Ground Zero mosque is a Sunni mosque. Shi’ites and Sunnis hate each other. It’s what the very long Iran-Iraq war was all about. It’s why Dubai and other Gulf States expelled their Sunni populations. It’s why Yemen has Shi’ite terrorists fighting the Sunni government. Of course, she doesn’t want her Sunni enemies to have a mosque there. If it were a Shi’ite mosque, well, that’s another story....

Reigning Miss USA Rima Fakih has spoken out against the Ground Zero mosque. Fakih, 24, is the first Muslim winner of the Miss USA contest and is preparing for the Miss Universe Pageant, scheduled for August 23 in Las Vegas. "I totally agree with President Obama with the statement on Constitutional rights of freedom of religion," the New York Post quoted Fakih as telling Inside Edition during an interview. "I also agree that it shouldn't be so close to the World Trade Center. We should be more concerned with the tragedy than religion," she added.

Rima Fakih's beauty pageant sash declares that she is Miss USA, but journalists want to find other labels for her. Questions about Fakih's ethnic and religious identity have been nearly as frequent as questions about photos of her dancing against a stripper's pole. "I'd like to say I'm American first, and I am an Arab-American," Fakih said. "I am Lebanese-American, and I am Muslim-American." Fakih, 24, was born in Lebanon, but her family moved to New York when she was 7 years old. She later moved to Michigan, where she went to college. The rarity of a woman born in...

“A nation is never really beaten until it sells its women,” I wrote in a 2006 “Spengler” essay about Iranian prostitution. “The French sold their women to the German occupiers in 1940, and the Germans and Japanese sold their women to the Americans after World War II. The women of the former Soviet Union are still selling themselves in huge numbers. Hundreds of thousands of female Ukrainian "tourists" entered Germany after the then-foreign minister Joschka Fischer loosened visa standards in 1999.” It is a cultural marker of inestimable importance that the one Arab whose name every American knows is Rima...

The new Miss USA is a pole-dancing Shi'ite Muslim who counts the Hezbollah terrorist group as part of her loyal fan base. Or, as the Los Angeles Times put it, Rima Fakih is "the poster girl for modern America." Miss Fakih, who as Miss Michigan took the Miss USA crown last weekend, was born in southern Lebanon and, as commentator Debbie Schlussel has reported, has extensive family connections to Hezbollah. But that reportage has been overshadowed by the more politically correct "first Arab-American Miss USA" storyline, dovetailing as it does with President Obama's efforts to promote Islam at home and...

From 51 to 1: 2010 Miss USA Crowned in Las Vegas May 16, 2010 LAS VEGAS (AP) -- A 24-year-old brunette from Michigan has beaten out four blondes and 46 other women for the 2010 Miss USA title after nearly stumbling in her evening gown. Rima Fakih of Dearborn, Mich., won the pageant Sunday night after swimsuit, evening gown and interview competitions at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. During the competition, Fakih nearly fell while finishing her walk in a long, strapless gown because of the length of its train, but she recovered without a spill and went on...
