New Hampshire’s first transgender public official has been arrested for stalking a victim and violating a restraining order. Stacie Laughton, who was recently reelected as a Democrat to New Hampshire’s State House, has been arrested for stalking, Reduxx reported. Laughton was arrested on November 12th after disobeying a restraining order that an unidentified woman placed against him in July.

BAY VILLAGE, Ohio -- A 40-year-old Bay Village woman asphyxiated Saturday was the third woman slain in the past five weeks after receiving a restraining order intended to keep her spouse away from her. A new U.S. Supreme Court ruling won't change how local officers enforce restraining orders, but it concerns at least one judge. Based on a Colorado case, the June 27 ruling says that police can't be sued for failing to enforce a restraining order.
