  • Glenn Beck Started Out Well, But Now Its "Whoever Your God Is . . ."

He has explained the faith of our American founding fathers like no other in the media. He has exhaustively investigated the current and historical problems with socialism in the U.S. and abroad. He has rallied hundreds of thousands for the 912 Project and the Restoring Honor mass meetings, all the while pointing people to their Creator through, specifically, Jesus Christ. How amazed I was to watch a possibly ill or exhausted Glenn Beck say on his Monday TV program (after taking off from the radio) that, "I am not talking about a specific religion, just 'God'... whatever you define as...

Election '10: Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but in the case of the "One Nation" rally it was also the sincerest form of futility. Despite the usual media puffery, this cycle's enthusiasm gap was clearly visible. Saturday's gathering in Washington was so sparse, according to Gateway Pundit, that C-SPAN's Web site felt it necessary to use a crowd shot from Glenn Beck's Oct. 28 "Restoring Honor" rally. The Gadsden "Don't Tread on Me" flags in the picture were a dead giveaway. The "astroturf" slur used by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in 2009 to disparage the rise of the...

So last weekend the big "progressive" response to Restoring Honor took place. "One Nation Working Together" boasts the support of more than 400 liberal groups representing whopping TENS OF THOUSANDS of people. They got the bright idea to "respond" to Glenn Beck's restoring honor rally so they could show the country that President Obama's perceived mandate for his socialist agenda carries less weight than a heated debate between Biden and a cardboard cutout of himself over who is "more smarter." So how did it all work anyway? Well, first you identify the organizations that support liberal causes and recognize their...

This rally which took place this weekend, this “One Nation” rally, had been viewed by both CBSNews.com’s Stephanie Condon and Nancy Cordes as a “response” to the Glen Beck’s “Restoring Honor” rally of August 28, 2010 at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C. To compare this rally, (“One Nation”) which did not bring as many people as the “Restoring Honor” rally, which drew six figures in numbers of people having attended. Again, this is like comparing apples to oranges.
  • Parks Employee: 10-2 "One Nation" March -- "Worst That It Gets" (New Video of Lincoln Mem. Trashed)

An honest Parks Department employee who was on duty at both the 8/28 and 10/2 events, verifies that the trashing of the Lincoln memorial by the Leftists was the "Worst that it Gets" and The Restoring Honor Rally was very busy, very crowded, but the trash was picked up and put into piles by the participants. This could be shrugged off as insignificant, but it is a powerful example of the "unintended consequences" of the Marxist/Capitalist, Progressive/Conservative, Secular (group salvation, liberation theology)/Religious (individual salvation, Judeo Christian Culture) competing systems in America today. Those of us who were there the whole...
  • Aerial Shot Comparison: Glenn Beck’s ‘Restoring Honor’ Rally Vs. Progressive’s ‘One Nation’ Rally.

This past Saturday, progressives held the ‘One Nation’ rally at the Lincoln Memorial in an attempt to rival Glenn Beck’s 8/28 ‘Restoring Honor’ rally. While liberals talked a big game about how they’d have as many show to ‘One Nation’ as ‘Restoring Honor’, it wasn’t even close. And for that reason, I am going to do a comparison via aerial shots of both crowds. Keep in mind that on Friday, Ed Schultz boldly predicted that 300,000 would show up at the ‘One Nation’ rally. Well, he was wrong. (pictures in post)

Another exclusive Pajamas Media crowd estimate. The widely publicized, heavily subsidized “One Nation” rally was Saturday in Washington, D.C. As has been openly admitted by the organizers, which included the AFL-CIO, the SEIU and Obama’s perpetual campaign organization Organizing for America, this rally was held in the same place and at basically the same time of the day as Glenn Beck’s 8/28 “Restoring Honor” rally, specifically to demonstrate the depth of support for the president’s program. The convention organizers had a number of advantages, perhaps the greatest being that the buses bringing in demonstrators were apparently subsidized by the rally...

Well, here’s an overhead shot from yesterday’s astroturfed One Nation rally posted at the left-wing Huffington PostAnd, here is a crowd shot from Glenn Beck’s Restoring Honor rally in late August. So who are you going to believe? * * Well I guess that settles it. They already have the satellite images and all. The AP must be wrong about the “sparse” crowds. Even MSNBC was saying today’s rally was smaller than the one on 8/28. Joe Madison was happy to set everyone straight: Now, did you catch the one possible point of wiggle room with the claim? Mediaite did: Maybe Ed Schultz was right about being able to attract more people than Glenn Beck: organizers of today’s “One Nation Together Rally” are claiming that, based on a “satellite image,” there are definitively more people on the Washington...

Glenn Beck and his claiming of 500,000 people at the Beck rally. This guy CLAIMS that there was REALLY only about 90,000 people in attendance. Here's the KICKER. After Fox News host Glenn Beck led his spirit-filled "Restoring Honor" revival on the Mall last month, he seemed to be reinventing himself as an American Moses delivering America back to the Promised Land -- or perhaps the next Billy Graham, as Southern Baptist leader Richard Land suggested. Yet a new poll shows that Beck isn't quite yet a figure of biblical proportions, with 17 percent of Americans believing Beck "is the right person to lead a religious movement" and 50 percent saying he's not. Even among Republicans and white evangelicals, a highly motivated cohort of conservative voters who view...

The Glenn Beck Lincoln Memorial event brings to mind Brazilian Ze da Silva’s cartoon which on one side has Martin Luther King Jr. and on the other side President Barack Obama. On the left is the courageous, prophetic king who exalts, “I have a dream!” On the right is another courageous man, President Obama, bent low over his desk, muttering, “I have a nightmare.” Both men represent a limitless, indescribable courage, filled with dreams for the American people. King has just appealed for social, economic and racial justice. Obama has dreamed of a country free of racial, religious and sexuality...

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof ...” – 1st Amendment U.S. Constitution America is not a Christian nation. Glenn Beck held his rally Aug. 28 on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington. His words and actions were a not-so-subtly coded message to white Americans: Beck and speaker Sarah Palin spoke about retaking America and overthrowing a duly elected government. Their base, the Tea Party Republicans, advocates violence, theological purity and purification, and the destruction of the Constitution that they claim to hold dear. What is clear from their...

The left has tried so, so hard to destroy the tea party movement. Their efforts to label them as racists, hate-mongers, astroturf, Nazis, radical evangelicals, and a number of other asinine things have failed. Liberal activists have even tried infiltrating tea parties to embarrass them, but again that failed. Now, after all of their failures and just days after an upwards of 500,000 people gathered together at the National Mall for the Restoring Honor rally, liberals have launched a website to track tea partiers and their rallies. The website’s slogan “A watched teapot never boils” could not be a better...

What a blown opportunity. Glenn Beck gathered thousands of people at the Lincoln Memorial on Saturday to urge a restoration of American honor — but not once did he mention the most egregious assault on America’s honor: militarism. It would have been a perfect time to call for dismantling the American empire, ending the bloody occupations and covert wars in Muslim lands and terminating the gross violations of the rights of Americans and foreigners alike. Under the guise of the “war on terror,” those things have stained this country’s reputation — perhaps beyond repair. Yet judging by the speeches at...

It was an eyebrow-raising revelation and certainly an original image: Beck cradling the actual words of the first president. But would the persnickety gatekeepers of the nation's historical legacy at the National Archives allow some talk show bombthrower to put his mitts on a rare (and fragile) artifact? The answer, it turns out, is no way. Beck was not telling the truth....his fib stands in stark contrast to the point of the rally, which was all about restoring the principles of courage and honor that the nation was founded upon. In fact, one of Beck’s only prescriptions for fixing...

Last weekend, I had the privilege of attending the “Restoring Honor” rally in Washington, D.C. While I’m proud to be an American each and every day, I was especially proud on that day. The feeling I had being amongst so many people that love and appreciate the blessings of liberty was at times overwhelming. The purpose of the event was simple. We wanted to express our love for our nation and dedicate ourselves to practicing the values that has made it so strong. Unfortunately, this simple lesson appears to be impossible for liberals and the media to comprehend.
