There is of course nothing wrong with organizing to elect party officials; it is what partisan politics is about. The problem in this case is in the result: It defeats the fundamental purpose of a political party, which is to elect its members to political positions. This requires the party to nominate and support candidates who have broad support and have the best chance to win election. The rise of the MAGA movement has resulted in the party endorsing candidates who are challenging the party’s incumbents. We can see this happening now. The county party has rescinded its endorsements of...

Last year I pegged this day as "Ray Epps Day" but it's becoming clearer as time moves on than an event was manufactured in Washington DC... What a horrible day incitement entrapment lives lost and a horrible authoritarian injustice imposed on so many punished by process. The Prisoners of January 6th deserve justice... The Jeffrey Epstein Update I had to revise this song to KC and the Sunshine Band "That's The Way I Like It"... one anonymous deposition from a girl who was underage in his presence quoted Epstein making angry threats to other people on the phone like: "You're...

'Do one in Naples, one in Marco Island. You know, whatever you need to do.' Back in Iowa Saturday morning, Ron DeSantis said he wanted snowbirds visiting the Sunshine State to be able to vote without going back home. The 2024 presidential candidate told supporters in Muscadine that he wanted caucus sites in Southwest Florida. “But I do know with so many people that go down in Florida, I have to figure out — I may petition the Iowa Republican Party to have some caucus sites in Southwest Florida,” the Governor quipped. “So people could just go, I mean, do...

MSNBC historian Jon Meacham has some "advice" for the Republican Party: Drop dead. That was what Meacham was essentially saying on Friday's The 11th Hour on MSNBC that the only way to fix the Republican party (make it more like the Democrat Party) is to keep on losing.Let's just remember that Meacham isn't some disinterested historian. In 2020, he was a secret speechwriter for President Biden, until the conflict of interest surfaced. So naturally he wants the Republicans to lose, so he has more speech-writing opportunities, like that bunk about leftists "restoring the soul of the nation."

Radical far-left Senators are threatening to leave the GOP if the party continues on its path of representing the people. The Democrats no longer represent America. They push the war in Ukraine against nuclear power Russia, the invasion across the Southern border (which supports drug cartels, Chinese manufactured fentanyl and US-backed child trafficking), massive spending (causing massive inflation), the destruction of the human body, mind and soul (through trans-rights and perverted child pornography), and the ultimate destruction of this great Christian country. Now four GOP US Senators are threatening to join them. According to Conservative Treehouse: According to interviews conducted...

For those of us who have been trying to awaken people to the true nature of Republicans in the senate, aka “the Decepticons”, the latest self-admissions are very welcome. According to interviews conducted by The Hill, several Republican senators are now saying they just cannot be members of the Republican Party if they are forced to represent the interests of the base voter. These very specifically named Republicans have always been members of the UniParty in DC; however, now they are saying “populism” amid the commonsense, America First voting base is not going to be acceptable. The senators are openly...

Illinois Republican Party Chairman Don Tracy caught some of his fellow state central committee (SSC) members off guard this week when several of them received an email naming them to the new Endorsement Policy Committee, which Tracy will chair – paving the way for the chairman and the state party to officially endorse their preferred candidates in primary elections, in an apparent dig at the grassroots-base of the party. In January, Tracy floated this idea during an interview with Bishop on Air, and blamed the top of the ticket for the midterm election losses this past November – saying that...

MSNBC host Joe Scarborough said Tuesday on his show “Morning Joe” that Republican Party is to blame for mass shootings while reacting to a mass shooting in East Lansing, MI on the campus of Michigan State University. Scarborough said, “What’s wrong with the country? More specifically, what’s wrong with state legislatures? What’s wrong with governors? What’s wrong with members of Congress? What’s wrong with elected leaders? They don’t do everything that they can to stop mass shootings in America. This does not happen in other industrialized nations.” Co-host Mika Brzezinski said, “This is an American problem.”

As many have eloquently said before, politics is a circle of money. The politicians provide taxpayer funds to selected private sector businesses, and those corporations fund the political efforts of the politicians. It’s a circle of interests disconnected from the American electorate. In the latest example, the pharmaceutical corporation Pfizer, a multinational who received billions in taxpayer funds for their COVID-19 vaccination and other efforts, now gives a generous $1 million contribution to the Republican Party of Kentucky to expand a new building for the state party. Kentucky is the home state of Senate Leader Mitch McConnell.Nothing to see here, move...

In private messages, social media posts and public comments on Illinois Review posts , a theme is emerging from the IL GOP establishment to the hardworking, grassroots conservative freedom fighters: only rich, donor voices matter. Itâs an elitist mentality â and for years, theyâve gotten away with it. But thatâs now changing. As embattled IL GOP chair Don Tracy struggles to maintain his control of the party, and with new revelations that his family-owned business, where he is an owner, donated to Joe Biden in 2020 and âNever Trumpersâ in 2022, the small, but entrenched establishment is swinging back in...

Operation Mockingbird was an alleged CIA project that recruited journalists to write fake stories promoting government ideas while dispelling communist ones. Is this still happening today? Today I’m sharing why I think it is and how it poses a serious threat to the Republican Party. Representative Jim Banks (R-IN) said on this week’s broadcast of “Fox News Sunday” that former President Donald Trump was not on the ballot in the midterms after the GOP underperformed. Anchor Shannon Bream said, “Let’s talk 2024 because it is already here. Trump is expected to make an announcement on Tuesday. You have been an ally and supporter of his.” Bream asked, “Is his announcement on Tuesday a good thing or bad thing for the GOP?” Banks said, “Donald Trump remains a very popular figure in the Republican Party in each corner of the country. And remember when he was...

Lamenting the reality the Senate will remain in Democrats' control for the next two years, Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., is calling for an overhaul of the establishment Republican Party in Washington, D.C. "The old party is dead," Hawley tweeted Saturday night. "Time to bury it. Build something new." Hawley was reacting to the news Republican Adam Laxalt's votes have been overtaken by Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto, D-Nev., clinching the Senate majority for Democrats. "Washington Republicanism lost big Tuesday night," Hawley tweeted earlier this week. "When your 'agenda' is to cave to Big Pharma on insulin, cave to Schumer on gun...

Hawley has been vocally critical of the Republican Party and its Senate Leader Mitch McConnell Republicans need to rebrand and "build something new" after they failed to retake a majority in the U.S. Senate or meet general expectations for the 2022 midterm elections, one of the party’s younger members said. On Saturday, shortly after Democrats picked up a key victory in Nevada, where incumbent Democrat Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto defeated Republican challenger Adam Laxalt, Republican Sen. Josh Hawley took to Twitter to say the Republican Party "is dead." "The old party is dead. Time to bury it. Build something new,"...

President Trump said he would find it “very disloyal” if former Vice President Mike Pence or other members of his former Cabinet sought the GOP presidential nomination in 2024, seeking to send a warning to a number of figures weighing potential White House bids. “Many of them have said they would never run if I run, so we’ll see if that turns out to be true,” Trump said Friday during a brief phone interview with Fox News Radio host Brian Kilmeade. “I think it would be very disloyal if they did, but that’s OK, too.” Trump boasted that “the polls...

Former President Trump laid into Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) on Sunday after Senate Democrats passed their long-awaited health care, tax and climate package. “Mitch McConnell got played like a fiddle with the vote today by the Senate Democrats,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “First he gave them the fake Infrastructure Bill, then Guns, never used the Debt Ceiling for negotiating purposes (gave it away for NOTHING!), and now this,” Trump said. “Mitch doesn’t have a clue – he is sooo bad for the Republican Party!”

It is expected – unless the vote fraud is even worse than usual this time – that the Republicans will win back both the US House and the US Senate in November 2022. This is not certain, and nobody should count their chickens before they’re hatched, though every poll points to it. Even so, it’s not too soon to talk about what the next GOP Congress needs to do. And this time, some of the absolute musts are unusual. First, a few ground rules: 1. Republican legislators have a tendency to say “if we don’t hold the executive branch, there’s...

A former district staff member for Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-N.C.) is accusing him of improperly firing her after denying her family and medical leave, allegations the lawmaker and his office have vehemently denied. At one point during the call, Lisa Wiggins, who was a caseworker for the 26-year-old first-term representative in his district office for over a year, described that office as having “more liquor bottles than they do water bottles.”
