Any pro-war, anti-hippy Freepers out here will want to listen to this clip. An Iraqi calls in to a Seattle talk show to rebut a protester's stance on the war. The protester, I hardly need add, had absolutely no way to respond to the Iraqi’s very simple question. This is a 2.3mb MP3 clip linked from my webserver. Let's just hope my bandwidth can stand up to the challenge! This is my first post, so if the link doesn’t work, I’ll try to fix it. Download Here!

OLYMPIA -- A man spent hours chained to the wrong building Tuesday in an ill-planned effort to protest war with Iraq, police said. Jody Mason padlocked himself to an entrance of the Washington State Grange building at 924 Capitol Way S., thinking it was a sub-office of the U.S. Department of Energy.

Leftwing "Peace" Saboteurs By Brian Sayre FrontPageMagazine.com | March 17, 2003 "We have to prepare to continue the struggle," cried Richard Becker, a member of both the steering committee for International A.N.S.W.E.R. and the communist Workers' World Party. Although the A.N.S.W.E.R.-organized crowd at the March 15th rally in San Francisco was smaller than in previous demonstrations, the cries from the podium were much sharper. Becker called for direct action, civil disobedience all over the city, should the United States begin a war with Iraq. But the anti-war demonstrators hadn't waited for Becker. Plans for direct action on the day of...

0800: Wake up and tiptoe around the house so as not to violate “noise laws” and get a visit from the police. 0805: Don’t take a bath. 0810: Don’t comb hair; leave in hip “mussed” look made popular by Germans (slept in one position for 6 hours) and Brits (oily mussed look because bathroom plumbing is crap). 0830: Leave home and leave door unlocked for burglar to have easier entry so he won't smash expensive union-made door. 0900: Go to nearest bar for coffee picked by slave-labor in Africa. 0910: Score some pot from a friend met on the street....

SEOUL, South Korea — North Korea threatened on Tuesday to abandon the 1953 armistice that ended the Korean War, accusing the United States of plotting a naval blockade as a prelude to an attack over the communist state's nuclear program. "The situation on the Korean Peninsula is getting extremely tense" because the United States is planning to send reinforcements in a standoff over the North's nuclear activities, said a spokesman for the North Korean army.

The growing movement against the military ouster of Saddam Hussein is coming under increasing attack, not just from conservatives but from former lefties - some of whom still consider themselves men of the Left - who have been denouncing anti-war organizers for having hidden agendas. Christopher Hitchens quit The Nation over it. Jonathan Chait of the New Republic, Ron Rosenbaum of the New York Observer, and philosopher Michael Walzer have written stinging rebukes of the leaders of an impending war against the Iraqi regime - with some of them even attacking the fellow-travelers and mainstreamers who participate in the demonstrations....

A logging protester with the Earth First! environmental group has died after a 50-foot fall from a redwood tree, Santa Clara County officials said Thursday. Professional protester is bane of TV news crews A full-time protester is annoying news teams in Taiwan by standing behind them holding up placards as they make broadcasts. Ke Shih-hai has been protesting for the past year about what he claims are the country's unfair judicial practices. The 46-year-old millionaire has put aside his business interests and made protesting his career. He has an information gathering team to keep him up to date with news events so he knows where to appear with his placards. He says he has been yelled at and even beaten up by TV crews and...

Apparantly some local peacenicks want to hassle Dennis Hastert tonight in Aurora Illinois at Walter Payton's Roundhouse. The Roundhouse is a fine establishment with an excellent selection of beers from the in house brewery to quench your palate after a night of fun and leftist heckling. Also there is the Walter Payton museum. Sounds like a good friday night to me... I am going to price megaphones on my lunch break.
