I also remember (in my personal study of WW2 history) that America thought if we built up our military (post WW1) that that in itself would incite aggressor nations to draw us into war. We deliberately remained militarily weak as was evidenced by lack of bombers, tanks, artillery, etc. Heck, our primary battle rifle was the old 1903 Springfield.
We even were in the process of giving the japs a Friendship Medal shortly before Dec 7, 1941.
Sure, hope for the best. But prepare for the worst. We must cease and desist with all foreign aid and stop paying trillions to support wetbacks, deadbeats and grifters in our country.
Take that money and build an unquestionable powerhouse military. Peace through superior firepower.
For example, yesterday I purchased some food in a Latin supermarket and the cashier told me the total price in English.
I have the same experience regularly in "Food City" in Phoenix. "Food City" is the supermarket chain that markets primarily to Latinos. The same company owns Basha's (mainly middle-class Anglos), and A.J.'s Finer Foods (very upscale).
I really wish that our government would have brought its full force to bear against the pro-enemy Left during the Vietnam War. It was led by very well-concealed members of the Communist Party USA in direct contact with Hanoi, Moscow, and Beijing.
They spread their tentacles through the People's Coalition for Peace and Justice (PCPJ) and the New Mobe and they we assisted by Democrat leaders and the media.
Our government monitored them, kept excellent records - and did nothing at all to them and just let them subvert and eventually defeat us.
