In recent days, a handful of the president's supporters garnered large headlines. Each of them have one thing in common. They are rabid supporters of President Obama, and in many ways reflect his very own tendencies and lack of candor, but with far less grace. They have openly confessed to murder, they have refused to allow independent investigations to look into their odd activities, they have pledged retribution towards those who exposed them, and they have even proudly told a creeped-out nation that they would do it all over again.

School children in New Jersey have been taught to chant and sing praises to President Barack Obama. This video (below) was filmed at the B. Bernice Young Elementary School in Burlington, NJ and uploaded on June 19, 2009 by YouTube user “brandnuwords” who later removed it. But, several others have now posted it … apparently as documentary evidence. According to Michelle Malkin, “brandnuwords” is an account created by Charisse Carney-Nunes. She is the senior vice president of The Jamestown Project, “the award-winning author of the children’s books, I Am Barack Obama (2009),” and according to her biography, “a graduate of...

MSNBC’s Norah O’Donnell on Thursday appeared mystified as to why anyone would have a problem with New Jersey school children being led in a song praising Barack Obama. The February 2009 video contained these lyrics: "He said we must be fair today! Equal work means equal pay! Barack Hussein Obama! He said, red yellow, black or white, all are equal in his sight! Barack Hussein Obama!" She complained to conservative columnist Tim Carney, "I mean, this is children. They're singing a song...If you can make your point again about why this is indoctrination, political indoctrination to praise your President." The...

No word on where or when this was shot but it was posted to YouTube just two days before The One’s speech to students, which makes me wonder if it was part of some school’s festivities for the screening. I think parents’ fears about their kids being politically indoctrinated are usually overblown, but I’m open to persuasion by compelling evidence — like, for example, this, or the vid you’re about to see. Getting little kids to croon about how awesome the president is troubles me less than the pop quiz the boss posted, mainly because they’re too young to understand...

Here’s some footage to gladden the heart: children at an elementary school in New Jersey being coached by their teacher to sing a song in praise of their Dear Leader. The lyrics are pretty snappy: Barack Hussein Obama He said that all must lend a hand [?] To make this country strong again Mmm, mmm, mm! Barack Hussein Obama He said we must be clear today Equal work means equal pay Mmm, mmm, mm! Barack Hussein Obama He said that we must take a stand To make sure everyone gets a chance Mmm, mmm, mm! Barack Hussein Obama He said...

Those New Jersey school children singing songs of praise to Obama might remind us of this poem from Animal Farm by George Orwell: Comrade Napoleon Friend of fatherless!Fountain of happiness!Lord of the swill-bucket!Oh, how my soul is onFire when I gaze at thyCalm and commanding eye,Like the sun in the sky,Comrade Napoleon! Thou art the giver ofAll that thy creatures love,Full belly twice a day, clean straw to roll upon;Every beast great or smallSleeps at peace in his stall,Thou watchest over all,Comrade Napoleon! Had I a sucking pig,Ere he had grown as bigEven as a pint bottle or as a...

An important update about the creepy video we posted yesterday. The Burlington Township School District, to which B. Bernice Youngs Elementary School belongs, posted the following Letter to Parents this morning. Dear Burlington Township Families: Today we became aware of a video that was placed on the internet which has been reported in the media. The video is of a class of students singing a song about President Obama. The activity took place during Black History Month in 2009, which is recognized each February to honor the contributions of African Americans to our country. Our curriculum studies, honors and recognizes...

"Video shot by Charisse-Carney Nunes and uploaded to her youtube account here... You can clearly see her book "I am Barack Obama" on a stand to the left of the kids by the stage. She was there to pimp her book. She is a former Harvard Law School friend of Obama's. She is the Senior VP of Programs for the Jamestown Project... Drudge posted the video on his page and I spoke to the guy who posted the video tonight for over an hour. He emailed Charisse as a "fan" and got her to give up that the school was...

That video and material that was shown to schoolkids throughout the nation was just an innocent attempt to get the kids motivated right? Nevermind the fact that the first instructions sent out had the kids write out what they could do to help Obama out.... That was changed and everything was hunky-dory again. But the worries that the cult of personality would seep into the kids mind have proven well founded: [VIDEO AT SITE] From Hot Air: ...one of the lines about The One here, heard near the beginning from the kid who’s singing solo, is an adaptation from a...
