Do you need a quick shorty shotgun for close quarter firepower? Have a look at Mossberg Shockwave. You’re not gonna need a tax stamp or special approvals to get this short barrel with a high-capacity pump action shotgun. But you’ll need more ammo. The Shockwave is technically a "firearm" (Class 3/NFA) due to its 14-inch barrel that shoots a 12 gauge load. Shockwave also incorporates the "bird's-head" style grip in place of the shoulder stock. Youtuber Hickok45 had a chance to do some plinking with this awesome shotgun. So, what seemingly looks like an NFA shotgun is actually classified as...

You need a gun that can meet all your hunting needs? A pump shotgun may be what you are looking for. If you're on a budget, or you are the kind of hunter who likes to keep it simple with survival in mind, consider getting one gun that will cover all your small and big game hunting needs. The video from Backwoodsman is definitely food for thought when you want to get one gun that will serve you well in marsh, forest and field. A pump shotgun, like the Mossberg 500, is a great American-made choice. With a wide variety...
  • I bought my first gun

I finally broke down and purchased my first gun for home protection. It's the Mossberg 500 12 gauge. It has a short barrel and is great for in the home use. It even comes with a pistol grip but I wont attach that unless it everything goes all "beyond thunderdome" on us. Going to take my wife out and make sure she knows how to handle it. I felt a shotgun was better and safer for an in home protection mechanism in our case. Heck, just the pump-action noise is enough to send someone packing. Anyway, in for a penny...

  • The Mossberg 500 Great Shotgun, Great Value

The Mossberg 500, 12 gauge pump shotgun provides us with something that matters to most real-world shooters: Value. Value means something that works well and costs less than it's worth. And while some shot-gunners will read this and begin to rant and rave about "cheap" this and that; they can go ahead and use their "collector's model", artist engraved, sleek, precision....yada, yada, yada.... $3000 guns. I'll just keep blasting away with my $200 Mossberg. As will thousands of other shooters who have discovered this attractive, durable, and dependable pump shotgun.
