Kamala Harris has a new 'serious problem' on her hands with just two days to the presidential election. Female voters on both sides of the aisle were turned off by misogynistic comments made by top Harris campaign surrogate Mark Cuban last week saying Donald Trump does not surround himself with 'intelligent women.' And an 'insulting' new Harris-Walz ad suggesting women should 'lie to their husbands' about how they vote isn't helping the Democratic nominee either.

The Seattle-based Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP) removed all mention of JK Rowling from their “Harry Potter” exhibit after calling her a “cold, heartless, joy-sucking entity,” according to a blog post that was posted in May. Project manager Chris Moore, who is transgender, authored the piece and claimed that they would “love to go with the internet’s theory that these books were actually written without an author.” “But this certain person is a bit too vocal with her super hateful and divisive views to be ignored,” continued the post. “For the time being, the curators decided to remove any of...

After openly declaring on Instagram Thursday that it would be staging a ‘Pride Riot,’ a group of left-wing thugs took to the streets of New York and brazenly broke a restaurant window, cutting a female patron. “Stonewall was a Riot! Pride is a Riot! Pride needs to center Black Trans and Queer People, Culture and Joy. This is not an ask but a declaration of what we will be doing in and off the streets,” the Instagram post said, adding, “Our visibility is not up for debate and any form of policing or oppression against Black People will be dismantled...

On Friday 21 May, while walking her dog, Amanda, 27, from Umeå, in Sweden, was beaten by a group of "young men". She justified wanting to speak out about the incident, suggesting that in these cases, victims should rather remain silent. UMEÅ: The badly injured woman said she hoped that the culprits – foreigners, according to her – would be arrested so that other people do not suffer the same fate. “It’s not just for me, but so that others don’t get hurt,” she told Swedish news outlet Samnytt. Last Friday, around nine in the evening, Amanda went for a...

Transgender activists are slamming a campground for gay men because it is excluding women who say they are transgender men. Owners of Camp Boomerang RV Park and Campground, a new, private gay campground in Orleans, Michigan, made it clear that the campground is for men only, effectively banning transgender men — biological females who consider themselves males. “Camp Boomerang is a private, membership-only rv park/campground that allows only ‘guys,'” Camp Boomerang cofounder Bryan Quinn wrote, defining “guy” as “a person with a penis” who “presents himself as male and has a state-issued ID that says ‘male.'”

Gloria Steinem isn’t it high time to remind The Sisterhood that feminism no longer protects women but is actually aiding and abetting the Muslim misogynists who oppress them Thank God for UN Watch, the organization which routinely roots out the institutionalized hypocrisies of the world’s largest bureaucracy while most of us just gripe about the UN when something comes along to remind us it’s still out there. When female activists elected to office and self-proclaimed themselves as Sweden’s “First Feminist Government of the World” performed their ‘Walk of Shame’ before Iranian President Rouhani on Saturday wearing Hijabs, Chadors, and long...

Caitlyn Jenner may have snagged that Vanity Fair cover, but she’s not the only photogenic trans woman making moves and shaking up the game. Despite the ever-present specter of tokenism, openly transgender models have in the past few years forged an important presence in fashion — on top runways, in glossy editorials and even in high-profile campaigns. There’s still a long way to go, but as a toast to progress and Pride month (celebrated internationally in June), here are five barrier-smashing stunners who represent a good start.

Bristol Palin and fiancé Dakota Meyer are calling off their wedding, which was set to take place this weekend. Former GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin announced the cancellation of her daughter’s nuptials in a Monday Facebook post, writing the couple has “informed loved ones that unfortunately the announced celebration planned for May 23 will not be held.” Palin wrote that, although it won’t be a walk down the aisle, a shindig of some sort will still go on: “Many friends and family still look forward to getting together that day in Kentucky anyway — and the Palins and Meyers...

Conservative pundit Sarah Palin made a cute, sporting little cameo on Saturday Night Live’s 40th anniversary show this weekend – winking at her own disastrous 2008 vice-presidential run, which was memorably skewered at the time by SNL’s Tina Fey. In the bit on Sunday night, Palin piped up during a Q&A with Jerry Seinfeld to ask, “Just curious, Jerry, how much do you think [SNL producer] Lorne Michaels would pay me if I were to run in 2016 with Donald Trump as my running mate?”

(VIDEO-AT-LINK) HBO supernatural drama takes aim at conservatives in bloody takedown. HBO's “True Blood” took another stab at conservatives on Sunday's episode when it left a bloody mess of an event held in Ted Cruz's honor. It was exactly what the doctor ordered for an ailing Eric (Alexander Skarsgard), who has been infected with the dangerous virus that's killing vampires. He was all ready to meet the true death until his progeny Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten) informed him that Sarah Newlin, part of the group manufacturing the virus, was still alive and on the run. That was enough for...

A former writer for TMZ filed a lawsuit Friday against the company for sexual discrimination, harassment, retaliation and wrongful termination. The suit stated that Catherine “Taryn” Hillin, who was employed by TMZ as a producer for approximately a year-and-a-half from Feb. 2012 to Sept. 2014, was the only female writer on the celebrity news website's staff. Hillin alleges that she was quickly advised that TMZ was a “boys club” favoring male employees over female employees, with one employee telling her, “Good luck being a girl writer.” The suit goes on to cite specific examples of discriminatory comments by executive producer...

Sarah Palin believes flight 370 flew directly to heaven... how is she a senator? — DIMV (@Freshselective) March 21, 2014 The Daily Currant strikes again. The website, which calls itself “The Global Satirical Newspaper of Record,” last week claimed that Sarah Palin told Sean Hannity she believes Malaysian Airlines Flight MH370 “accidentally flew too high and got stuck in heaven.” The story was cross posted to other non-satire sites and managed to fool quite a few.

Bill Clinton uses a car-racing metaphor to explain the difference between rash and calm decision-making in politics. “The great drivers, when the cars get close, the turns get hairy, they calm down, and they see everything, and they act,” he says. “The ones who are fearful and can't concentrate and can't calm down, run into the wall.” Republican leaders should pay attention, because on the issue of whether Clinton’s sex life is relevant 14 years after he left office, they’re once again careening toward a wall. Sen. Rand Paul dredged up Clinton’s affair with Monica Lewinsky and his subsequent impeachment,...

Phil Griffin, head of the MSNBC cable television channel, told Marisa Guthrie of the Hollywood Reporter that he accepts responsibility for recent embarrassments that led Alec Baldwin and Martin Bashir to leave the network and Melissa Harris-Perry to offer a tearful on-air apology. "These were judgment calls made by some of our people. We handled them. We were transparent. That is our philosophy: Be factual, and step up when you make a mistake,” Griffin asserted. “We took responsibility for them and took action. They were unfortunate,” but “I don't think it hurt us in any way.” While known as a...

Why don’t people behave in more environmentally friendly ways? New research presents one uncomfortable answer: They don’t want to be associated with environmentalists. That’s the conclusion of troubling new research from Canada, which similarly finds support for feminist goals is hampered by a dislike of feminists. Participants held strongly negative stereotypes about such activists, and those feelings reduced their willingness “to adopt the behaviors that these activities promoted,” reports a research team led by University of Toronto psychologist Nadia Bashir. This surprisingly cruel caricaturing, the researchers conclude, plays “a key role in creating resistance to social change.” Writing in the...

Negative stereotypes about environmentalists and feminists are engrained in society, according to a new study. Researchers from the University of Toronto quizzed over 400 Americans about both types of activists and received 'overwhelmingly negative' feedback. The most common words used to describe 'typical feminists' included 'man-hating' and 'unhygienic' while 'tree-hugger' and 'hippie' were attached to 'typical environmentalists'. Revealing their findings in the European Journal of Social Psychology, the researchers say these character attacks 'play a key role in creating resistance to social change.'

So much for girl power. Former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell tweeted out a positive message regarding former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, who the singer once dubbed the "first Spice Girl," to honor the late leader's legacy earlier today. Liberal social media users quickly engulfed Halliwell with hateful tweets, using the kind of language normally reserved for the worst of the worst....

Two fellow Alaskan women, Kirsten Powers and Penny Lee, penned a letter to the New York Times calling out misogynist attacks on women in public life. They included this interesting aside: “Coincidentally we both hail from Alaska — where women are treated as equals — so perhaps our threshold for this kind of behavior is less than here in the Lower 48.” As an Alaskan woman, I completely agree. Women up here do not tolerate the sexist stereotyping and behavior. Up here, I’m constantly around commercial fishermen who curse like sailors, oil field workers with hardcore blue collar work ethics,...

Fox News Poll: Perry Overtakes Romney as Top GOP 2012 Pick; Most Say Palin Should Stay Out of Race By Dana Blanton September 01, 2011 | Even as Texas Gov. Rick Perry moves into the lead as Republican voters’ preferred presidential candidate, a Fox News poll released Thursday shows that voters are more likely to view him as “too extreme” than former frontrunner Mass. Gov. Mitt Romney. Even as Texas Gov. This sort of thing should send a chill down the spine of anyone who understands what it means for a country to be free or for a school to be public. It never ceases to amaze. Sharia is putting down roots all over the West, in ever more explicit and obvious ways. And bien pensant folks on the Left continue to insist, fiercely and self-righteously, that nothing of the kind is going on — even though it’s happening right under their noses. One of the lastest breathtaking examples: a public middle school in Toronto where Friday prayers are part of...
