"He’s a good man to burn as a Judas" Mexicans torched a Donald Trump effigy and cheered as the replica of the Republican presidential front runner exploded during its annual burning of the Judas festival on Saturday. The popular ritual in Mexico City, which takes place before Easter and symbolizes Jesus’s victory over evil, drew hundreds of spectators who chanted “Death!” as the 10-foot-tall Trump papier mache was ignited, the Washington Post reports. “For Latinos here and in the U.S., he’s a danger, a real threat,” Leonardo Linares, an effigy-maker who presided over one of the many block parties across...
  • Mexicans in U.S. REALLY upset about Trump

Mexicans in the U.S. are profoundly upset about Donald Trump and his stated intentions. No other candidate has addressed illegal immigration with stated intent to fix it, but Trump has. They are not worried about any other candidate because they know they will only take watered-down action on illegal immigration and let things continue as usual. However, with Trump, they see a man awaking the nation to actually do something about the immigration problem and they are VERY upset about it. FYI to all.

Washington (CNN)Jeb Bush told Telemundo he wants a pathway to legal status for all 11 million undocumented immigrants in the United States. The former Florida governor granted his first Spanish-language interview as a presidential candidate to Telemundo Monday evening. In the interview, he talked about his immigration policies, his thoughts on Donald Trump and Cuba, and his home life and family.

Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush believes he can convince conservative primary voters that illegal immigrants should be “punished”–by being granted a path to amnesty. In an interview from Liberty University that aired Monday on Fox News, host Megyn Kelly told him, “you know that there’s a core wing of the party for whom this will be a deal breaker.” Bush replied, “I don’t know that.” “I’ve been traveling over the last three months. I get a sense that a lot of people can be persuaded, to be honest with you,” he said. Polls, though, have shown conservatives in early primary...

A great many Republican House and Senate candidates may be staying away from talking immigration, or immigration reform this cycle, but not Jeb Bush. A funny thing happened on Jeb's recent visit to Colorado to stump for Republican Cory Gardner in his race against Democrat Mark Udall.

Auto giant Ford is planning a new assembly plant south of the U.S. border, the Wall Street Journal reported Sunday, and will sharply increase factory output from Mexico just months after signing a labor deal. Citing people familiar with the matter, The Journal reported that Ford will add half a million units of annual capacity from Mexico starting in 2018, which is double the amount it built in 2015. The new assembly complex will be based in San Luis Potosi, and Ford will expand an existing facility near Mexico City, the publication added. The move may heighten the debate over...

U.S. authorities on Wednesday seized a cross-border tunnel that ran the length of four football fields from a restaurant in Mexicali, Mexico, to a newly built house in Calexico, California, following an investigation that netted more than a ton of marijuana and resulted in four arrests. The tunnel was the 12th completed secret passage that U.S. authorities have discovered along California’s border with Mexico since 2006. They have found more than 75 along the entire U.S.-Mexico border in the last five years, mostly in California and Arizona and many of them incomplete.

mmigration: Meddling dangerously in American democracy with a not-so-secret motive, the Mexican government is quietly aiding its citizens in the U.S. to become eligible to vote in our elections. “Mexico is mounting an unprecedented effort to turn its permanent residents in the U.S. into citizens, a status that would enable them to vote — presumably against Donald Trump,” says Bloomberg Business. The story goes on: “Mexican diplomats are mobilizing for the first time to assist immigrants in gaining U.S. citizenship, hosting free workshops on naturalization.” But contrary to the claim in the Bloomberg piece, the goal isn’t solely to keep...

Recently, when disrupters showed up at a Trump rally in Chicago, the first thing that came to mind was that America’s most notorious community organizer could be the wizard behind the curtain orchestrating what was being sold as an organic occurrence. In Saul Alinsky’s 1971 book Rules for Radicals, the late author could have been describing Obama’s last seven years in office when he wrote that an efficacious organizer should be “an abrasive agent to rub raw the resentments of the people of the community; to fan latent hostilities of many of the people to the point of overt expressions.”...

And from most places South of our border. Donald Trump took a lot of heat for making some statements about illegal immigrants from South of the border. Thank you. It's true, and these are the best and the finest. When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending their best. They're not sending you. They're not sending you. They're sending people that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems with us. They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people. WaPo immediately launched into a tirade about "rates" of crimes which is entirely...

Officially Mexico says it honors the sovereignty of the United States and has no intention of interfering with the presidential elections in November. Privately, however, Mexican diplomats are gearing up to help Mexican immigrants obtain U.S. citizenship, and then urging them to vote in November. Adrian Sosa, a spokesman for the Mexican consulate in Chicago, exposed the official posturing as a lie, speaking at an event last week: “This is a historic moment where the Mexican consulate will open its doors to carry out these types of events in favor of the Mexican community.” The numbers are far too small...
  • Border agents: DHS has ‘no intention’ of deporting illegals

A top Homeland Security official told Border Patrol agents the Obama administration has “no intention of deporting” many of the illegal immigrants caught trying to sneak into the country, ordering instead that they be released so they don’t clog up the courts, a leading advocate for agents testified to Congress.Brandon Judd, president of the National Border Patrol Council, said the orders are a new “catch and release” policy, which he said “amounts to amnesty” because it means many illegal immigrants are never asked to leave the country. It also suggests the Border Patrol is being ordered to break President Obama’s...

We've had a "try and stop me" president. Now we need one who will invalidate those actions Washington is out of control. Legislators, judges and unelected bureaucrats want to control our lives, livelihoods and living standards, with no accountability even for major errors, calculated deception, or deliberate, often illegal assaults on our liberties and on citizens who resist the advancing Leviathan. These themes animate Republican and conservative politics because they are happening—regularly. The Competitive Enterprise Institute is renowned for its annual Ten Thousand Commandments reports on federal rules. A scary but mesmerizing new analysis now maps how the Washington bureaucracy...

Mexican consulates in the U.S. are hosting citizenship clinics across the country, hoping to convince permanent residents from Mexico to become U.S. citizens so they can vote against Donald Trump. The pious declaration from the Mexican government that they are not "interfering" in the U.S. election fails the smell test. From Bloomberg: Joel Diaz doesn’t want to wait to see how it all turns out. The Mexican-American, who has been a permanent resident of the U.S. for six years, arrived at the Mexican consulate in Chicago on Saturday with his wife and four adult sons to register all of them...
