The latest batch of Hillary Clinton e-mails disclosed by the State Department is perhaps the most interesting. This is not because there is a bombshell; we know she destroyed “personal” e-mails, so we are not likely to find any real nuggets in those she turned over. (In one humorous e-mail previously released, she asked whether the e-mail can be printed out “without identifiers.”) No, this tranche of e-mails is revealing because it shows Clinton to be lacking real authority, surrounded and protected by political hacks, filthy rich and obsessed with political power. In short, this is the real Hillary Clinton.

Former Democratic (not Republican) Congressman Dennis Kucinich just brought this new Clinton ad to my attention. He walked into my office and showed me. I watched the ad…and I pulled up the transcript from the complete interview from which the edited clips come. The HRC ad – at least the portion I am in with Congressman Trey Gowdy – is dishonest. It is not complete and it is intended to convey a false message. The HRC campaign should pull this ad. The ad shows Chairman Gowdy saying ‘it could be’ when I pointed out that a delay in releasing the...

Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton is set to raise a record amount of money in her first quarter as a presidential candidate, exceeding expectations of her campaign. Clinton is on track to raise more than $45 million in the April-June fundraising quarter, a Clinton campaign official said Wednesday. That would be more than any other primary candidate's first quarter in history. At $41.9 million during its first quarter in 2011, President Barack Obama's campaign held the previous record. The Clinton campaign official said that 91% of the donations came from people giving $100 or less. Clinton, on Twitter, posted that...

It is rare for news events, even as momentous as the past week's, to drown out absolute proof that a candidate for president has lied willfully to the public and Congress. Yet precisely such proof has emerged, and it has appeared not only in this newspaper but also in The New York Times (albeit with a headline designed not to draw attention). Americans learned this spring that Hillary Clinton, in contravention of federal records rules and current law, conducted all her State Department business using a private email address, housed in a server at her home in Westchester County, N.Y....

Hillary Clinton's emails have been a subject of partisan finger-pointing and hand-wringing since the revelation in April that she had used a private home-brew server to store her messages during the four years she was secretary of state. On Tuesday the State Department released the first in a series of document-dumps comprising about 3,000 of the 55,000 pages Clinton turned over to State late last year. They describe the ordinary and the shocking – everything from ordinary meeting recaps to the involvement in the agency of Sidney Blumenthal, Clinton's 2008 election hatchet-man who had officially been exiled from the administration....

Full Title:Hillary Clinton May Have Committed Treason In Benghazi By Facilitating Weapons Sales To Rebels Who Killed Americans While Hillary Clinton was secretary of state, she supported a covert exchange of weapons to Libyan rebels, some of whom then conducted the Sept. 11, 2012 attacks on the American diplomatic compound in Benghazi, according to federal court documents obtained by Fox News. Career CIA officer David Manners offered sworn testimony to the District Court of Arizona on May 5, 2015, claiming, "It was then, and remains now, my opinion that the United States did participate, directly or indirectly, in the supply...

EL-ARISH, Egypt (AP) - Dozens of Islamic militants unleashed a wave of simultaneous attacks, including suicide car bombings, on Egyptian army checkpoints in the restive northern Sinai Peninsula on Wednesday, killing at least 53 soldiers, officials said.

The advanced planning and coordinated execution of the attacks show that the long-running insurgency in the area is growing stronger, posing a serious threat to Egypt's security as the military-backed government struggles to restore stability after years of unrest since the 2011 uprising.

Judicial Watch today released new State Department documents showing that Hillary Clinton and the State Department’s response to the Benghazi attack was immediately determined by top Obama White House officials, particularly Ben Rhodes, then-White House deputy strategic communications adviser, and Bernadette Meehan, a spokesperson for the National Security Council. The new documents were forced from the U.S. State Department under court order in a Judicial Watch Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of State (No. 1:14-cv-01511)).

At the time he was Obama's WH advisor (and chief political strategist), David Axelrod said he was unaware Hillary conducted official State Dept business from an unauthorized, private server. But emails released Tuesday evening by the State Dept include his request for Hillary's private email address--and suggest he had every reason to know and raises questions about what else he knew. Asked last month in an interview whether he knew anything about Clinton's "homebrew" system when they worked together in the Obama administration, Axelrod responded, "I didn't know." However, correspondences from 2009 show that Axelrod may have had reason to...

DRUDGE Headline - Axelrod caught in new lie... Former White House senior adviser David Axelrod said in June he was unaware Hillary Clinton conducted business from a personal email server when she served as secretary of State – but a State Department document dump Tuesday evening raises questions about how much he knew. Asked last month in an interview whether he knew anything about Clinton's "homebrew" system when they worked together in the Obama administration, Axelrod responded, "I didn't know." However, correspondences from 2009 show that Axelrod may have had reason to know about Clinton's questionable email behavior. While it's...

(Reuters) Vladimir Putin with Jose Maria Aznar, then Spain's prime minister, at Moncloa Palace on June 13, 2000. One of Russia's largest organized-crime syndicates allegedly operated out of Spain for more than a decade with the help of close allies of President Vladimir Putin, then the deputy mayor of St. Petersburg, Bloomberg reports. Prosecutors in Madrid have filed a 488-page petition to charge 27 people with money laundering and fraud in connection to the St. Petersburg-based Tambov crime syndicate's setting up shop in Spain in 1996. Vladislav Reznik, now the deputy head of the finance committee in Russia's lower house...

Islamic State militants launched a wide-scale coordinated assault on several military checkpoints in Egypt's North Sinai on Wednesday in which 50 people were killed, security sources said, the largest attack yet in the insurgency-hit province. Egyptian army F-16 jets and Apache helicopters strafed the region that lies within the Sinai Peninsula, a strategic area located between Israel, the Gaza Strip and the Suez Canal. It was the second high-profile attack in Egypt this week. On Monday, the prosecutor-general was killed in a car bombing in Cairo. The attacks raise questions about the government's ability to contain a Sinai-based insurgency that...

Global support for ISIS may be much bigger than previously known, according to a new report that found as many as 42 million Muslims around the world have positive feelings about the black-clad army of barbarians that established a so-called caliphate in Syria and Iraq last year. The report from the New York-based research institute Clarion Project crunched numbers from four recent polls surveying Arab public opinion toward ISIS. Clarion found the terror group's supporters are 8.5 million strong, but more than 42 million of the world's estimated 1.5 billion Muslims feel at least somewhat positively about the terror group....

Catherine Duval, the attorney in charge of the Internal Revenue Service’s email production to Congress, has changed jobs: She now manages the State Department’s email production to Congress, Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) told a hearing of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee on Thursday, June 25. Both the IRS and State Department have come under congressional scrutiny over their email production amid suspicions that critical documents may have been withheld or destroyed. Word that Catherine Duval – also known as Kate Duval -- has worked at both the IRS and the State Department came last Thursday, when Gowdy questioned...

If the White House is disgusted with anything, it's that she got caught According to a report published this weekend, not only did Hillary lie about the YouTube video but she also lied when she said she turned over all of her non-personal emails. ....And at least a few of the emails that she did manage to turn over were sanitized to downplay some politically uncomfortable realities. As the Washington Examiner reports: Hillary Clinton withheld Benghazi-related emails from the State Department that detailed her knowledge of the scramble for oil contracts in Libya and the shortcomings of the NATO-led military...

National Journal reporter Ron Fournier said Monday on Morning Joe that Hillary Clinton has undermined the public’s trust in government and politics. “White House officials tell me they’re disgusted with the fact that Hillary Clinton violated their rules on foreign donations, violated their rules on email,” Fournier said. “Well, I haven’t heard the president rebuke her. I haven’t seen his State Department investigate this. So I’ve got to assume that the Obama White House is complicit in this lack of transparency and in this rule breaking and whatever else is going on that we don’t know about.”

New documents released by a federal court show President Obama called then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on the night of the 2012 Benghazi attack -- but the contents are being withheld by the State Department. It had previously been disclosed that Clinton and Obama spoke the night of the terror attacks. But the documents offer additional information about the timing of the call -- after the initial attack on the U.S. consulate, but before the second wave where mortars hit the nearby CIA annex and killed former Navy SEALs Ty Woods and Glen Doherty. The contents of the call, however,...

Cruz said, “Mainstream media is not fair and impartial. They are protecting Barack Obama and this presidency. I think no one is more ready for Hillary than the mainstream media.” He continued, “If any Republican did what she’s [Hillary Clinton] doing right now, she doesn’t take any press interviews and the press is docile … How many criminal investigations are ongoing into Hillary Clinton right now?”

Welcome to the age of vanity politics and campaigns-for-hire. What would our founders make of this nightmare? Four qualities have distinguished republican government from ancient Athens forward: the sovereignty of the people; a sense of the common good; government dedicated to the commonwealth; and resistance to corruption. Measured against the standards established for republics from ancient times, the American Republic is massively corrupt. From Plato and Aristotle forward, corruption was meant to describe actions and decisions that put a narrow, special, or personal interest ahead of the interest of the public or commonwealth. Corruption did not have to stoop to...
