Chadwick Moore, a contributor for the LGBT magazine OUT, has come out as a conservative in an article for The New York Post, citing his gradual move to the right after left-wing friends rejected him for his neutral profile on Breitbart Senior Editor MILO. In his article “I’m a gay New Yorker – and I’m coming out as a conservative,” Moore details how after he published the profile on MILO, fellow liberals and even his best friend started to ignore and cut ties with him. “After the story posted online in the early hours of October 21, I woke up...

Chamber of Commerce CEO Tom Donohue is a wanted man -- at least according to the liberal activist group that's put a de facto bounty on his head. A network of liberal groups known as Velvet Revolution started an ad campaign offering $200,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the man whose trade organization has become a thorn in the side of the Obama administration and congressional Democrats. The group is not leveling any specific charges of criminal behavior. Rather, it is casting a wide net, fishing for any whistleblowers from Donohue's past who might come forward...

E-mails sent by a “conservative” student to a “liberal” professor, calling him a traitor and threatening to “puke” all over him are not protected political speech, the Nebraska Court of Appeals said in a decision last week. Darren J. Drahota was found guilty of disturbing the peace and fined $250 for e-mails he sent to Bill Avery, then a University of Nebraska-Lincoln political science professor and now a state senator from Lincoln . The Nebraska Court of Appeals upheld the conviction, saying libelous and insulting or “fighting words” are not protected by the Constitution. The court described the content of...

Student protesters gathered within the room where Tancredo was scheduled to talk, spilling outside the room and congregating outside the building. After campus police removed two girls holding a sign that read “No dialogue with hate,” Tancredo began his...

A group of liberal bloggers said it is teaming up with organized labor and MoveOn to form a political action committee that will seek to push the Democratic Party farther to the left. Soliciting donations from their readers, the bloggers said they are planning to recruit liberal candidates for challenges against more centrist Democrats currently in Congress. The formation of the group marks another step in the evolution of the blogosphere, which has proved effective at motivating party activists to give money and time to political campaigns, especially in local races. But it also illuminates a deepening wrinkle for President...

The Fox television network said on Thursday it will provide its stations with TV spots that portray Muslims in a favorable way after it received complaints for featuring followers of Islam as terrorists on its hit television show "24." On Monday, Fox premiered the fourth season of "24." The drama featured an upper-middle class Muslim family operating as a sleeper terrorist cell. The Muslim mother poisons her son's non-Muslim girlfriend because it was feared the girl could jeopardize the terrorists' plan. A Fox spokesman said it would provide public service announcements sponsored by the Council on American-Islamic Relations to its...
