Lots of celebrities want to meet the president and they often come with their own pet requests: Sign this or that, take a picture with my kid, how can I steal a hand towel from a White House bathroom? But Snoop Dogg wants something different. The rapper (real name: Calvin Broadus) has been a longtime advocate for the legalization of marijuana (and a frequent user of it) and spoke to Hot 99.5’s Toby Knapp about the subject and how he might convince President Barack Obama to support a change in the country’s drug laws. “Before I even said ‘Hi’ to...

One of the most hated men in history has been killed by our troops by a Commander-in-Chief who has done everything in his power to demean, de-fund, impose demeaning homosexuality and restrict the ability of our troops to fight terror, including pursuing civilian trials for captured would-be terrorists. Let's be fair here, the average American hasn't a clue what century the French & Indian War was fought in and probably cannot tell you who who Joe Biden is, so the mainstream media will run with this for all its worth. The Media will give 100% credit to Obama and mark...

It used to be that marijuana came to the Bay Area from the legendary back country of Humboldt County or the desert fields beyond Tijuana. Now the fields are in the Bay Area, and everywhere else in the state. Marijuana is one of the top cash crops in California, NBC Bay Area's Mike Luery reported. Many of the fields are located next to popular trails and in the middle of state parks. A fierce battle is being waged in our own back yard to remove the pot groves. They are hidden in brush so thick that specially trained officers must...

Dear friend: Do you want to see a Libertarian in Congress? Of course you do. And thanks to Tom DeLay, the Libertarian Party may have its best chance ever. A surprise opportunity has offered itself recently, and we need to exploit it. A federal judge has ruled that Tom DeLay’s name can not be replaced on November’s ballot with another Republican politician. Late last week, DeLay announced that he will withdraw his name, leaving only two candidates on the ballot: a liberal Democratic former congressman, and Libertarian Bob Smither. Bob is well known by the voters and media in this...

The House of Representatives has voted 268-148 to continue letting the federal government prosecute the use of marijuana as a supposed treatment or cure for various diseases. Marijuana, a substance linked in scientific studies to mental illness, has been touted by the pro-drug legalization lobby as having benefits for cancer, MS and AIDS patients. This vote demonstrated that most members of the House don't believe in those stories about "medical marijuana." The case for so-called medical marijuana can be an emotional and persuasive one. Montel Williams appeared on the O'Reilly Factor to claim that marijuana helped his multiple sclerosis. When...
