It’s official. Democrat Kyrsten Sinema has emerged victorious over Republican Martha McSally in Arizona’s Senate race. Sinema will occupy the seat that will be vacated by spineless Republican Sen. Jeff Flake, who would not have won re-election to his seat if he ran for re-election. Flake’s approval ratings are abysmal—and he would have lost handily in a primary challenge. Congrats to @kyrstensinema. I wish her success. I’m grateful to all those who supported me in this journey. I’m inspired by Arizonans’ spirit and our state’s best days are ahead of us. pic.twitter.com/tw0uKgi3oO— McSally For Senate (@MarthaMcSally) November 13, 2018 For...

Martha McSally was a #NeverTrumper before the 2016 election. She refused to attend the Republican convention. But Paul Ryan really liked her. Conservative radio host and author Mark Levin told his audience on Monday that McSally refused to go on his show.

The Arizona Senate race is one that Democrats think they can pick up. Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) is unpopular; the latest crop of Republicans that have represented the state have disappointed conservatives and its trending blue. It’s going to be tight. Right now, Republican Congresswoman Martha McSally and Democratic Rep. Kyrsten Sinema are duking it out. Sinema had a commanding lead, but the vicious fight over the Supreme Court nomination of Brett Kavanaugh gave the GOP base a boost, plus the serial bad news from Sinema’s past activist history has turned her Senate run into something of a dumpster fire. There’s...

Enough already will the love fest farce of the McCain deep swamp death gig!!! My message is directed to Republican, Governor, Doug Ducey of Arizona. Sir, you have shortchanged & openly neglected your duties by remaining silent since last, December, 2017, when Republican, Senator, John McCain became absent and unable to cast his vote in the U.S. Senate, therefore rendering him incapable of effectively representing the seven million citizens that reside in Arizona. I am urging you to do your duty and responsibility and appoint Ms. Kelli Ward...immediately to fill the remaining length of McCain's term. This charade and cover...

POTUS-backed: Republicans backed by POTUS Donald Trump cruised to victory in primaries around the country on Tuesday. In Florida, Rep. Ron DeSantis easily won the GOP nomination for governor to replace current Republican Gov. Rick Scott, who is running for the U.S. Senate...

Lou Dobbs makes Arizona’s female version of Jeff Flake look like the RINO she is. KellyAnne Conway on Fox right now saying Trump endorsed her. No he didn’t. McTurtle and establishment money won the race for her. It was also a forgone conclusion she would win when Arpaio jumped in the race to siphon votes away from Ward. Of course Ward didn’t help herself in the end, but that was reallly immaterial. CNN already grinning ear-to-ear calling her a foe of the president and that she “beat back’ two “extreme hard-right candidates” for the win.

Pretty decisive Only 29% for Ward. Blame Arpaio I guess. Ward is now damaged for the 2020 McCain rerun. We can only hope that turnout was high.

Dr. Kelli Ward had a campaign appearance in Yuma on Saturday night, the 25th of August, for the Republican primary for the Senate. Yuma was the last stop at the end of a whirlwind bus tour around the state. I was able to attend and ask Dr. Ward a question about gun issues beyond the usual "I support the Second Amendment" boilerplate. I arrived before 6 p.m. I ran into many of the local political activists. It was clear Dr. Ward was getting much more attention than she had in 2016. I had attended a similar rally in 2016,...

If calling constituents concerned about illegal immigration "crazies" is a term of endearment, what would be an insult? On today's Morning Joe, John McCain refused to apologize to the thousands of Arizonans attending a Trump rally that McCain called "crazies." According to McCain, "crazies" is a "term of endearment" and a "term of affection."

Kelli Ward suggested Saturday that the statement issued Friday by U.S. Sen. John McCain's family about ending treatment for brain cancer was intended to hurt her U.S. Senate campaign. McCain died Saturday hours after her remarks. Ward, a conservative former state senator from Lake Havasu City, is in a three-way race for the Republican U.S. Senate nomination in Tuesday's Arizona primary. Ward wrote on Facebook that "I think they wanted to have a particular narrative that they hope is negative to me." Her comment was made under a Facebook post by one of her campaign staffers, who questioned if it...

Hello, America. Lloyd Marcus, The Unhyphenated American, here, reporting in from the GOP U.S. Senate primary in Arizona. All month, the Conservative Campaign Committee, my wife Mary, and I have been campaigning all over this beautiful state for great courageous conservative Dr. Kelli Ward. Dr. Ward launched a bus tour to counter the 5 million dollars spent lying about her and to get out the vote. Our Conservative Campaign Committee attended each rally on her tour. As an American who happens to be black, it was a pleasant surprise to see that the opening speaker at Dr. Ward's rally in...

FOUNTAIN HILLS, Ariz. (AP) -- It was five days before ballots will be counted in his bid for the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate, and former Arizona lawman Joe Arpaio had no idea what he was doing. The final days of a campaign are usually frantic, with candidates' every moment scheduled to ensure they meet as many voters as possible. But Arpaio had nothing planned Thursday until a 4:30 p.m. meeting. "I ought to go to a Mexican restaurant and see how they treat me," Arpaio, 86, said as he sat in his strip mall office. So he and his...

Its Tuesday in Australia where Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull survived a vote of confidence as Liberal Party caucus met just 24 hours after Turnbull backed down on part of an energy policy he announced last week. Turnbull abandoned a plan setting targets for carbon emissions opposed by many caucus members. The Liberal Party has also been reeling from defeats in recent by-elections for lower house seats in Parliament. Mr. Turnbull was able to survive a challenge from Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton winning 48-35 in the caucus meeting. A win for Turnbull but a narrow one in the context of...

There's word from the war Saudi Arabia is conducting in Yemen against the Houthis who heavily populate the northern part of the country and are supported by Iran. A bomb supplied by the United States was used in an air attack on a school bus recently that killed 51 people including 40 children. It was a laser guided Mk 82 bomb manufactured by defense contractor Lockheed Martin according to the lettering on it. This news report has political overtones since CNN is behind it noting that former President Barack Obama banned the sale of these kind of bombs after an...

With less than two weeks to go before Arizona's primary election Republican candidate US Representative Martha McSally is refusing to debate her rivals in the US Senate Primary set for August 28th. McSally is running against former State Senator Kelli Ward and former Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio. Arpaio's decision to enter the race this year appears to split the more conservative voters giving McSally a better chance of winning. The missing factor in the race is a clear cut endorsement from President Donald Trump. Trump did tweet praise of Ward within the last year. Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte...
