Lou Dobbs makes Arizona’s female version of Jeff Flake look like the RINO she is. KellyAnne Conway on Fox right now saying Trump endorsed her. No he didn’t. McTurtle and establishment money won the race for her. It was also a forgone conclusion she would win when Arpaio jumped in the race to siphon votes away from Ward. Of course Ward didn’t help herself in the end, but that was reallly immaterial. CNN already grinning ear-to-ear calling her a foe of the president and that she “beat back’ two “extreme hard-right candidates” for the win.
Why did Arapaio jump in?

The bit of good news in this is that she apparently moved from a purple district to an at least somewhat red statewide office (if she wins).
And Ward, while an actual conservative, seems time and again not to be a great candidate. In this as in most cases, before taking office, the GOP candidate must defeat a Democrat.
If the rumor is correct and Ducey is going to name an actual conservative rather than a McCain family member, then at least the net effect will be to go from two traitorous “GOP” senators from the state to at worst one such, with the other at least more conservative and honorable.
Better hope she becomes the next McSenator, otherwise it's McSinema.
I’m sure the Dem (who answers to Shuemer) will do a better job voting in Trump’s judges...yep, we should stay and count on that.

It doesn't matter. McSally took 52% of the vote. Ward would have lost, Arpiao or no Arpiao.
I’ve never believed in the “3rd person party spoiler excuse.” If Ward was on her game and gave the electorate a clear message that was succinct and on point with conservative values then Arapaio wouldn’t have garnered one percent of the vote. When you’re off message and aren’t appealing to voters you give them all the more reason to back someone other than you.
McSally won because of money, more than anything else.
Ward spent far less than a million.
Money spent on McSally was over seven million, I have read.
The airwaves were flooded with third party ads against Ward.
Seven million is cheap for a Senate seat for the next 30 years.

She certainly assured voters this morning that Trump endorsed her. I don’t know either way what the truth is.
McSally-McCain was backed by some “Main Street” coalition
of Establishment Crooks (lots of bucks), she said she backed Trump’s Agenda, she has voted with him over 90% of the time, she has an essentially a conservative record, she was promoted as a military hero and I think Ward ran before in AriZona and lost.
All reasons why.
At any rate, light years ahead of her opponent, and, unlike the maggot Hugin in New Joisey, she had NOT attacked Trump and supports his agenda.

Ask Lou Dobbs who he prefers to support a border wall. McSally or Ward. He interviewed both. Ward hands down. I’m predicting the democrat will win this seat. Maybe Doucey will appoint a conservative to replace

I think Arapaio jumped in when some supporters with some money agreed to back him (with limited funding). Their pushing him....was mostly to take Phoenix voters. If you go around the state, you won’t find that many people all pepped-up on Arapaio....just those who saw him as Sheriff. So this group got a way to subtract the Phoenix vote from the other two. You have various states who had a third individual in the primary system....just for that purpose to taking support.
Listen-up Freeper all-or-nothing perfectionists. Who do you want voting on the judicial nominees who will decide whether you can keep your guns — McSally? Or ANY Democrat?

McSally deleted her YouTube video where she praised DACA and all the illegal ‘dreamers’, but conservatives know she is a ‘pig in a poke’.
