Thanks for injecting some sanity into the thread! I’m going to give McSally the benefit of the doubt. She was an A-10 driver and unlike McCain, she didn’t get blown out of the sky. She’s also been fighting for the military to maintain its A-10 squadrons. Unlike most in Congress, she’s been there, done that.

The fact that she felt the need to delete her video and felt the need to get Trump’s support and tout it in ads (even if he didn’t fully endorse) already makes her much better than McCain and Flake. she doesn’t have to always agree with him but if she avoids getting on “the shows” to bash him it’s a huge step up. By some reports McSally has sided with Trump 97% of the time since he was elected. That’s substantially more than Lyn’ Ted.

The only way to fix this is for Ducey to appoint Kelli Ward senator to fill the vacant spot left by the dead guy.
The truth is Ward easily won where they knew her. The problem is central and southern AZ simply don’t know her and frankly they have a 50/50 conservative/leftist population which hurts Arizona. Damn leftists have been moving to AZ for decades from skunk holes like CA, WA, and Oregon.
McSally had the name recognition and the TV time both locally and nationally. This is how the republican party rigs elections for the candidate they want. Only someone like Trump with his own national name recognition can overcome that kind of election rigging. There’s nothing fair about elections these days. Not sure there ever was.
Ducey is quoted as saying he will appoint someone President Trump favors. I guess we will soon see who that is.
I sure hope it’s Kelli Ward - a true conservative who understands what the country needs.
