The Linux desktop environment KDE is moving a little closer to Microsoft Windows as developers ready a release of QT, the KDE graphical framework, that will run natively on the proprietary operating system. Red Hat and Suse have released patches for a critical security hole in their Linux distributions that stem from a vulnerability in the KDE desktop environment.KDE is a user interface package used with several versions of Unix and Linux.
