An Illinois granny savagely battered her grandchildren's cat and four kittens to death with a hammer after the youngsters refused to tidy their rooms, police said. Josephine Bell allegedly threatened to "take away" the five defenseless animals after getting angry at the children's lack of cleanliness at the family's Godfrey home, reports KTVI.
