Kerry "troubled" by Hayden CIA nomination May 8, 2006 NASHUA, N.H. --Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry says he's troubled and has "serious reservations" about President Bush's nomination of General Michael Hayden to be director of the Central Intelligence Agency. Kerry says his concerns stem from Hayden's involvement in the Bush administration's domestic surveillance program, which Hayden used to oversee as the former head of the National Security Agency.
