In California, voters with no government ID can still vote so long as they show a gym membership, credit card, utility bill, or other low-security identification.
Individuals wishing to register to vote in California are prompted on the secretary of state’s website to provide their driver’s license identification number and/or the last four digits of their Social Security number. But both sections give applicants the option to select a box indicating they lack that form of identification.
If an applicant checks both boxes, he would later be prompted to provide other identification, the California secretary of state’s office told The Federalist. Upon further inquiry, an office representative said individuals could provide proof of identity by showing items such as a credit card, a utility bill, or their gym membership.
When I called back for additional clarification, the woman told me she had been informed not to speak to the press, and gave me an email address to try.

What is the over under on a person with no DL or SSN NOT being one at least one type of gov assistance?
AFAIK.. to get gov asst, they need to have at least some sort of verified identification?
Or do you get snap/tanf and disability with a gym membership card?
If you’re new to the country, you can also use a gym membership or credit car to drive a car, school bus or transport truck.

Now that might apply to state of California elections, but as I understand it would not apply to federal elections. So the question is is how do they make sure only qualified people vote in the federal election? Think they really care?
Neither of those documents are proof of US citizenship.
Yet another reason why the President should not be elected by the national popular vote.

Anyway, a lot of people might say that what California does to promote election fraud does not affect me, because I live in another state.
Well, for those folks who think like that, here are some facts:
California sends 52 Representatives to Congress. 40 Representatives are DEMOCRATS and only 12 Representatives are Republicans.
California heavily influences what comes out of Congress.
Now, the 12 Californian Republican Representatives are very vulnerable.
1. California rules make it easy for non-citizens to vote.
2. California rules make it easy for people from another state to vote.
3. California rules make it easy for California Residents outside the Districts of the 12 Republican Representatives to vote.
The election system in the USA has become a real mess. It started with Clinton’s Motor Voter Law and the GOP does nothing to fix it. And the GOP has been especially lax since Trump was elected in 2016.

US citizens are given a SS# at birth. It’s a policy that has been in place since the 1980’s. Nobody that is qualified to vote doesn’t have a SS number.
I don’t have a gym membership. Do they accept library cards? park passes? used tickets to the roller coaster? I have a losing raffle ticket for a basket of fruit - will that work? Why even bother? Just let every human, mammal or reptile vote.
California is not part of the USA any more.

The Tax Reform Act of 1986 required that every dependent age five or older listed on a tax return have their own Social Security number, which led to a spike in demand for Social Security numbers for children at earlier ages.
The Social Security Administration developed an enumeration-at-birth process in 1987, which quickly became the way the majority of people apply for Social Security numbers.
Now parents indicate on the birth certificate form whether they want a Social Security number assigned to their newborn child. When the state vital statistics office receives the request with the birth registration data from the hospital, it forwards the information to the Social Security Administration and a number and card are issued for the child.
That’s no biggie.
In Hillsborough County, FL all you need to have on you is a bail bondsman’s invoice showing receipt of the monies paid to bond you out of jail on your latest conviction.
Immaterial. Illegal aliens are offered a drivers license upon “entry”. At same time they are “encouraged” to register to vote. Wanna bet which political party?
Anyhoo, on the registration step there is no effort to confirm that “home address” is real. In many cases an empty lot. So, when mailin ballots are “mailed” they are simply picked up by DNC operatives.
This happened in 2020 election. Convicted felons were caught with hundreds of ballots in hand — and immediately released.
