IRVINGTON, N.J. -- One man shot another man Monday morning and then fled in a vehicle with a woman and her 4-year-old daughter, authorities said. A statewide alert was being issued. The wounded man was not likely to die, police Director Michael Damiano said. He said the shooting happened shortly after 7 a.m., and that the suspected shooter may be related to the child.
