This storm could potentially have a far greater effect than Akin IMO. No matter how strong it is, the media is going to turn this into one of the greatest disasters ever and probably give it to the RNC for throwing a party during it. Obama will be down there handing out water and they'll make him look like a god. People usually rally around the President during disasters.
