Sen. Mitt Romney, R-Utah, continued the course of not supporting former President Trump during the 2024 election. Last week, Trump had a closed-door meeting with Republican senators where he pitched a new policy position that could win over workers in key swing states ahead of the November election. Romney attended the meeting, though he told CNN reporter Manu Raju on Tuesday that he did not go to support Trump. "I didn't go there to support former President Trump. I went there to listen to what he was planning on doing if he became president," Romney told Raju. Romney reportedly acknowledged...

Warring Vladimir Putin is healthy, sane and 'in better shape than ever', his closest European ally has claimed - on the same day he reportedly fired a nuclear-capable hypersonic missile in Ukraine, in a terrifying first. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko - dubbed the last dictator of Europe - made the assessment of Putin's mental health during an interview with Japanese television channel TBS. -snip- But insisting the 69-year-old is in top condition, Lukashenko told his Japanese interviewer: 'The West, and you, should get this stupidity, this fiction out of your heads. Sen. Lindsey Graham on Tuesday questioned how much blame should be directed at Antifa for the violent protests and looting in the wake of George Floyd’s death in police custody. Mr. Graham, who chairs the Senate Judiciary Committee, said Antifa has played “a part” in the civil unrest. But the South Carolina Republican noted that rioting and looting happened during protests long before the militant anti-fascist group became a movement. “We will try to find out how organized this violence is,” Mr. Graham said. “But I am old enough to remember 1968, and Antifa was not around in 1968, that...

America's apparently unstoppable gusher of mass Third World immigration is on track to deliver a sick, dystopian future, where some people will do very well -- cheap maids and all -- but women and children will fare quite poorly.

With the major media actively covering up the crimes of immigrants, and big tech companies censoring people who point out the peculiarities of other cultures, there seems to be a major campaign on to prevent Americans from noticing.

With only six primaries left - and Barack Obama’s resounding lead over rival Hillary Clinton - many people have basically declared the delegate selection over. That, however, would be premature. While the majority of the states and overseas regions’ delegate numbers have been determined, most of them must still decide which individuals will head to Denver this August. have ruled which candidate gets how many delegates, most of them still must decide who will head to Denver this August. And, like so many things in this election, there’s loads of drama surrounding the process. Infighting, allegations, personal homophobia and potentially...

Their tempest began well before their presidential campaigns. When Senator John McCain claimed victory for a round of primaries Tuesday, it came as little surprise that he skipped over the criticism of Senator Barack Obama's policies. Instead, he zeroed in on another long-held aggravation: A perception that Obama wears a political halo. "I don't seek the presidency on the presumption that I am blessed with such personal greatness," McCain said, "that history has anointed me to save my country in its hour of need." A contentious relationship between McCain, a Republican from Arizona, and Obama, a Democrat from Illinois, has...

Arafat's doctor: His blood had HIV, but poison killed him 12/08/2007 By Danny Rubinstein , Haaretz Correspondent Late Palestinian Authority chairman Yasser Arafat's blood contained the deadly HIV virus, Arafat's personal physician told Jordanian media over the weekend. Jordanian news site Amman quoted al-Kurdi - a former Jordanian health ministry official - as saying that the virus had been injected into Arafat's bloodstream close to his death, and that the real cause of the chairman's death was poison. The war over immigration reform among conservatives continues, and, as in most wars, truth has been one of the first casualties. Those who disagree with the hardening positions of people who would adopt more restrictive policies or with people who favor less restrictive measures are attacked as know-nothings, traitors or handmaidens of evil forces out to destroy the America we live in. Many conservatives reacted angrily to the way the Bush administration tried to demonize opposition to the president’s quasi-amnesty and guest-worker proposals when they were first introduced. Critics at the time were characterized as racists or “nativists” more interested...

(Former Vice President Al Gore, who previously supported the Defense of Marriage Act and civil unions, was the keynote speaker at the Human Rights Campaign Gala on March 25, 2006, at the Century Plaza Hotel. This is an excerpt of his speech.) Abraham Lincoln once said, "I do good and I feel good. I do bad and I feel bad, and that is my religion." As a Christian, I was taught at an early age that the single most important departure in Christianity from the Judeo-Christian tradition as a whole was embodied in the simple teaching -- God is Love....
