Foreign refugees are continuing to flee the U.S. to Canada through the open, U.S.-Canadian Border. In a report by NBC News, foreign refugees are passing through the U.S. to Canada, specifically a small border town of less than 700 people known as Emerson. The vast majority of the refugees are of Somali descent who were originally placed in the U.S. Other refugees passing through the northern border are from Nigeria, Eritrea, and Djibouti. According to NBC, since January, more than 300 foreign refugees have crossed the U.S. border into Emerson.

Lights along the highway from farmers’ fields in Emerson, Manitoba, west of the border. The taxi stopped at the side of the I-29 interstate after cruising north for about an hour. Their $400 in the cabbie’s pocket, he dropped off Seidu Mohammed and Razak Iyal a two-minute drive short of the North Dakota-Manitoba line. The driver pointed the men toward a darkened prairie field and a row of red blinking lights, wind turbines in the distance. Walk toward those lights, and they could grasp freedom. “We didn’t feel any sign, but we could feel we are in Canada, because of...

Last night we posted a translated article from Romania about 48 Iraqi migrants who were discovered in the back of a tractor trailer that was supposed to be carrying a load of chocolate candies. Below is a video of the truck being emptied at the border control station between Bulgaria and Romania. Watch all the Iraqis exit the truck. When they’re all finally out on the garage floor, you can see there were no chocolates at all in the cargo compartment — nothing but Iraqis. This must have been a fairly sophisticated operation. It presumably included the collusion of the...

Full title :Exclusive — Ret. Lt. Gen. Flynn: Terror-Linked Nations ‘Cutting Deals’ with Mexican Cartels to Enter U.S. Retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, the former head of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), tells Breitbart News Daily on SiriusXM that countries that are known to support radical Islamic terrorism are "cutting deals" with Mexican cartels for access to human smuggling routes into the United States. Citing photos from the U.S. Border Patrol component of the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agency on Friday, Gen. Flynn also told Washington Political Editor Matthew Boyle, host of Breitbart News Daily, that there are signs...

Multiple-fatality crashes in Utah road construction zones have drawn increased scrutiny to the inherent hazards of work areas and the lackadaisical attention many drivers pay to safety warnings there. “Despite all of our work with Zero Fatalities and safety messages, people are on their cell phones talking and texting and looking at other things,” said Vic Saunders, Utah Department of Transportation Region One spokesman. “Within the confines of construction zones, with narrower lanes and barriers that make it a little bit tighter, people are wavering back and forth, and the danger is magnified for everyone.” Utah road construction zone crashes...

Residents along the U.S.-Mexico border are feeling ignored in the midst of a U.S. presidential election in which immigration, border security and a proposed wall are being hotly debated, a poll released Monday suggests. A Cronkite News-Univision News-Dallas Morning News border poll found a majority of urban residents surveyed on both sides of the border are against the building of a wall between the two countries and believe the campaign’s tone n is damaging relations. Residents feel Democrats and Republicans are ignoring their concerns and aren’t proposing solutions to help their economies or combat drug trafficking and human smuggling, journalists...

Almost a half-million acres in southern New Mexico were designated as a national monument two years ago. Now, members of the state's congressional delegation are pushing for portions of the Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks area to be set aside as wilderness. While praised by environmentalists, the effort is reigniting the concerns of local law enforcement about their ability to access the area to fight crime. The legislation introduced by Sens. Tom Udall and Martin Heinrich, both Democrats, would set aside more than 376 square miles - or nearly half of the monument - as wilderness. ... The Southwestern Border Sheriffs' Coalition...

A 2-year investigation has resulted in the indictments of 29 people and 86 criminal charges relating to a cartel connected-human smuggling operation in South Texas. The investigation which began in Atascosa County, Texas, tied in a suspected human smuggling operation that stretched from the border to as far as San Antonio and Houston. Atascosa County, located around the town of Pleasanton about 40 miles south of San Antonio, became the focal point of the investigation as authorities uncovered a stash house where up to 250 illegal immigrants per month were being smuggled, information provided to Breitbart Texas by Atascosa County...

McALLEN, Texas — Two illegal aliens from Mexico joined forces with human smugglers to kidnap and torture unsuspecting illegal immigrants being held at a stash house. Instead of charging the group with hostage taking or kidnapping charges, prosecutors charged them with human smuggling. Federal authorities this week raided a house in the border city of Mission, where they arrested a group of illegal immigrants as well as Arthur Flores, a U.S citizen, and two illegal aliens from Mexico described as his henchmen. The two henchmen had been tasked with holding the immigrants under threats of violence, court records obtained by...

Mexican drug cartels are smuggling foreigners from countries with terrorist links into a small Texas rural town near El Paso and they’re using remote farm roads—rather than interstates—to elude the Border Patrol and other law enforcement barriers, according to Judicial Watch sources on both sides of the Mexico-U.S. border. The foreigners are classified as Special Interest Aliens (SIA) and they are being transported to stash areas in Acala, a rural crossroads located around 54 miles from El Paso on a state road – Highway 20. HOUSTON – Northleaf Drive runs through a suburban neighborhood where residents manicure their lawns and hedges. American flags flap near their front doors. Kids ride bikes in a loop along roads called Heather Hills, Winding Trace and Cactus Flower. To residents, the squat ranch on Northleaf Drive in northwest Houston seemed to fit in. True, no one seemed to know the names of the four men who lived there, off and on. But neighbors told a Tribune-Review investigations reporter that they were still shocked when, eight days before Christmas 2012, police surrounded the home, guns drawn. “We got inside and...

Opposing in-state tuition for illegal immigrants is going “over the line,” according to former Florida Governor and likely GOP presidential candidate Jeb Bush. In an interview that aired Monday on Fox News, Bush, who supported granting in-state tuition for illegal immigrants when he was governor, noted that Florida’s version of the DREAM Act was recently passed by a “conservative Republican legislature led by a very courageous Speaker of the House” and signed into law by Republican Governor Rick Scott. “I supported that,” he said. “If you’ve been here for an extended period of time, you have no nexus to the...

EU foreign affairs head Federica Mogherini will call on the UN Security Council Monday to approve military action against people smugglers as the bloc splits over a new migrant quota plan. "I am ashamed that Europe only wakes up when it is confronted by the dead," Mogherini, the former Italian foreign minister, said recently. EU leaders tasked Mogherini with drawing up a list of military options, including action "to capture and destroy the smugglers' vessels," on the key condition it should be in accordance with international law. Normally that would require an agreement with the government concerned, but Libya is...

BROWNSVILLE, Texas – The Gulf Cartel made $38 million smuggling illegal aliens during last year’s immigration surge, taking advantage of the situation to smuggle tons of drugs with little intervention by authorities. The quantification of the cartel’s involvement was made in a report by the top law enforcement agency in Texas. As previously reported by Breitbart Texas, the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) had prepared the report to inform lawmakers about the border surge, the potential for terrorists, and the funding needs of the agency. The report had initially been leaked by the Houston Chronicle; however that publication mainly...

A federal law intended to protect abused child victims of sex trafficking is being exploited as a shortcut to legal immigration status, Queens Family Court insiders charge. Court insiders tell the I-Team that over the last year, hundreds of young men from the same part of India are all telling similar stories in order to get special access to green cards. Judges say they have no way of verifying their tales. “In my opinion, the process is faulty,” said Queens Family Court Judge John Hunt. Hunt tells the I-Team it is virtually impossible to verify the facts needed to know...

The court records show Border Patrol agents working the immigration checkpoint in Sarita, Texas arrested Eric Rodriguez earlier this week. Rodriguez was wearing his military uniform when he allegedly drove his Chevrolet pickup truck to the checkpoint. U.S. Border Patrol agents searched the vehicle. The agents allegedly found two illegal immigrants hiding in the floorboard just beside the front seat; they were using a bed sheet and Ramirez’s military jacket to cover themselves. Once in custody, the illegal immigrants, Alejandro Maya-Gonzalez and Juan Inda-Isiordia, told an agent with Homeland Security Investigations that one of the men had paid $3,000 to...

As the humanitarian crisis continues to grow along America’s southern border, states such as Texas and Arizona have called upon the federal government to do its job and secure the border, to no avail. In fact, the Obama administration, whom many believe to have caused the problem in the first place, is actually making the situation worse. Federal law prohibits the transportation of individuals who are in the country illegally, but that’s exactly what Homeland Security officials are doing. As illegal immigrants cross the border, DHS officials transport them by bus or airplane to sites around the country for processing....

The flood of illegals crossing over the border into the U.S. is an issue that’s become critical in recent days, largely due to the inactivity on the part of the White House to do anything about the situation. Many states, such as Texas, are sick of waiting on the president to take action, so they have created armed units to shut down the border without the help of the federal government.Ranchers have been getting attacked by illegals and border patrol units have been shot at by cartels and Mexican military choppers, yet Obama and his cronies have not lifted a...
