BEGIN TRANSCRIPT RUSH: All right, Rudy Giuliani. Let's go to the audio sound bites here. Rudy is turning up the heat, getting into some partisanship here, which is good, because there's a huge difference between Republicans and Democrats on the war. So say it! And Rudy did. He said, "We have to stay on offense. The Democrats want to put us back on defense." Yesterday in Manchester, New Hampshire, at the Rockingham County Republican Party's annual Lincoln Day Dinner, a portion of Rudy's remarks. the entire transcript from Rush's show RUSH: Rudy Giuliani, setting himself apart from the field, at...

This was both just too sad and very bizzare not to share here: BERLIN, Germany (Reuters)—A German inventor has angered animal rights activists with his answer to fighting the soaring cost of fuel—dead cats. Christian Koch, 55, from the eastern county of Saxony, told Bild newspaper that his organic diesel fuel—a homemade blend of garbage, run-over cats and other ingredients—is a proven alternative to normal consumer diesel. “I drive my normal diesel-powered car with this mixture,” Koch said. “I have gone 170,000 km (106,000 miles) without a problem.” The Web site of Koch’s firm, “Alphakat GmbH”, says his patented “KDV...

WASHINGTON — In an ominous sign for the GOP, a Gallup Poll released Tuesday says the public's approval of Congress remains at lows not seen since 1994 — when insurgent Republicans kicked Democrats out of power. The survey found only 23 percent of the country approves of the job the GOP-led Congress is doing, with 71 percent saying they disapprove. In 1994, a Gallup Poll done from Oct. 22 to 25 before the Republican revolution election found the virtually identical anti-incumbent opinion. . . . New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani sounded a more anxious note in a new fund-raising pitch...
  • Senate finds no al-Qaida-Saddam link

Saddam Hussein rejected overtures from al-Qaida and believed Islamic extremists were a threat to his regime, a reverse portrait of an Iraq allied with Osama bin Laden painted by the Bush White House, a Senate panel has found. The administration's version was based in part on intelligence that White House officials knew was flawed, according to Democrats on the Senate Intelligence Committee, citing newly declassified documents released by the panel. The report, released Friday, discloses for the first time an October 2005 CIA assessment that prior to the war Saddam's government "did not have a relationship, harbor or turn a...
  • Zotted Trolls Love Socialism is the best form of government (and here why)

    08/28/2006 1:33:08 PM PDT · by hand out love all · 5,619 replies · 20,392+ views
Socialism is best because under socialism. No one has to worry about being poor or starving to death. No one is poor, unemployed, discriminated, everyone is equal reguardless or race or creed. Today such ideas are condemned as evil. Any attempt to protest against slavery and genocide and human rights violations are met with the cries of COMMUNISM! By the religious right and then they conjure up stories about Stalin, Gulags, tortue, police state etc. So therefore we must stick with the current system of sweat shop slavery, poverty and racism while rich people who already have all they will...

Despite the clear economic case against a higher federal minimum wage, "moderates" in Congress are continuing the push the issue. Fortunately, House conservatives are not going along with this misguided effort, and members of the Republican Study Committee circulated this letter on Capitol Hill yesterday.

As is the case with a group think machine that is only interested in discushing shared ideas and beliefs without respect to reason or facts, the people involved with the Free Republic are dictated by their own sets of preowned views and beliefs. Anything that implies the USA to be wrong in its foreign policy is considered unacceptable and the member who made anti American remarks is swiftly banned from the forum. I am sorry to say this but most of you in the forum are low lifes whose knowledge and world understanding is distorted at best and hence you...

One look at you tells me all I need to know about you. I am so tired of liberals that think they are so brilliant. You are such a stupid jackass. You are so stupid you probably believe that the Bush administration orchestrated the attacks on 9/11. Every time you go on the internet, every time you make a bank transaction, or pay a bill, every time you try to email a congressman or senator they are getting so much information off of you. Of course it is all a conspiracy by the Bush administration. I have screwed around by...

Corporate Capitalism is run by SATAN through the use of WAR. Satan loves a bomb. Collateral damage is his term. Military Corporate Capitalism is Godless. The truth will set you free. It is easier to get a camel through the eye of a needle, than a rich man into heaven. (But not impossible.) Corporate Capitalism is run by SATAN through the use of WAR. This links to a ridiculous conspiracy theory that Free Republic is censoring comments that are critical of the Bush Administration's handling of the immigration issue. Let's prove this idiot wrong and post lots of these comments! I'll start by saying I adamantly oppose the President's amnesty/guest worker boondoggle.

I am curious why none of the media covers the most important aspect of the Malvo shootings. If you look at Newspapers on the dates when the shootings are underway you discover something I find quite interesting. The shootings begin to dominate the news the day before the debate on the Iraq war starts and they catch them the day after the declaration of war??? If you ask most people "do you remember the debate about starting the second Iraq war", they will all answer "yes of course". But if you followup with the question "name one point in the...

I recently received a reply to a post that stated: "This should be beneath a "freeper". Sad." So I asked.. what is it that makes a FReeper? My reply (and I will admit was tasteless) was also questioning. It stirred controversy and was removed? Why Moderators? Can you not tell me? Did it not meet with your "FReeper" mentality? According to all posted guidelines it should be listed but no, you chose to delete it. Yes.. I'm the first one IBTZ, I'm sure you'll nick me for speaking up..

My internet connection is via Comcast Cable. For the last few weeks I have not been able to connect to many political websites... namely "www.powerlineblog.com", "www.captainsquartersblog.com", "www.hughhewitt.com" and "www.biglizards.net" (and some others). Be it known that almost any other wiebsite is reachable. I know the problem does not lie in my computer or with the sites themselves. If I take my laptop (which cannot get to these websites from home) to a Panera, Starbucks or my office, it can connect to them just fine. Bottom line... IS COMCAST FILTERING OUT THESE URLs?

Life long republican - Drive by troll
All my life, I believed in Republican values -- individual responsibility and limited government. Then it happened; I found myself with a small child, unemployed and disabled. I turned to my church, and after years of regular tithes, suddenly I just wasn't their problem. My Republican friends? I was now a pariah to them. My only relief was to turn to government assistance for housing, food, and other needs and I was able to survive with dignity. So chalk me up as one who no longer drinks the GOP koolaid.
