Mallick, as a true progressive lives in her own insular world. Genuine criticism of a progressive woman is bullying but conservatives like Palin are fair game Sophie Grégoire-Trudeau, wife of what passes for the prime minister of Canada, has come under fire recently. She lives in free housing, complete with cooks, maids and other servants. In addition, the mother of three has two state-funded (that should read taxpayer-funded) nannies to help her with the children. And she has an assistant to help her although as the PM’s wife, she has no official duties. The poor dear apparently cannot function with...

Remember that Canadian Broadcast Corportation (CBC) columnist, Heather Mallick, who wrote a story chock full of Palin Derangement Syndrome on September 5? Her hateful rantings against Sarah Palin were so over the edge that the CBC was forced to issue an apology: "Mallick's column is a classic piece of political invective. It is viciously personal, grossly hyperbolic and intensely partisan. And because it is all those things, this column should not have appeared on the CBCNews.ca site." Well, guess what? According to the New York Times, Mallick was just "joking." Ian Austen, writing in the Times, provides the "joking"excuse in...

Extreme Pro-Abortion Feminist Heather Mallick Scheduled to Speak at Catholic St. Mary's University By Kathleen Gilbert CALGARY, Alberta, October 2, 2008 (LifeSiteNews.com) - St. Mary's University College in Calgary, a Catholic institution, has invited Heather Mallick, a virulently pro-abortion and anti-Catholic author and columnist to address students as part of their 2008-09 speaker series. Ms. Mallick is scheduled to deliver her talk, "A Liberal Arts Education: Worth Its Weight in Gold" to St. Mary's students on January 22, 2009. Mallick, a well-established feminist column writer, has an undisguised antipathy toward Catholic teaching and morals, particularly concerning abortion and sexuality. In...

Heather Mallick must be loving it. The largely anonymous journalist, a legend in her own lunchtime, is now the subject of controversy because she called American Republicans "white trash," said Sarah Palin looked like a porn actress and made repugnant personal comments about the governor of Alaska's family. She did all this on the CBC website, paid for by public dollars. The content of the diatribe is less Oscar Wilde and more Oscar the Grouch, but it's become major news in the United States. This is not a woman whose career has exactly blossomed and the consequent anger and bitterness...

Two weeks ago, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation published a piece by Toronto writer Heather Mallick that sprayed far Left elitism like blood from a cleanly-severed carotid artery. In it, she described supporters of Republican vice-Presidential nominee Sarah Palin as “white trash” and ascribed more insulting terminology to the Alaska governor and her family. Which presumably makes this black columnist “white trash.” Curious… ... cont.

The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation is reviewing complaints from both Americans and Canadians about a Web site columnist who recently described Sarah Palin’s supporters as “white trash,” compared the vice presidential candidate to a “porn actress” and called her daughter’s boyfriend a “redneck” and “ratboy.” The incendiary column by Toronto-based writer Heather Mallick appeared on the CBC News site on Sept. 5, after the close of the Republican National Convention. On the same day, Britain’s Guardian newspaper published another column by Mallick in which she trashed Palin’s home state of Alaska as a “frontier state full of drunks and crazy people.”...

In it, she described supporters of Republican vice-Presidential nominee Sarah Palin as “white trash” and ascribed more insulting terminology to the Alaska governor and her family. Which presumably makes this black columnist “white trash.” Curious… There are certain points that occasionally need to be repeated, and one is the far Left’s practice of projection. Something taught in Psych 101 classes, it’s the psychological trait of ascribing characteristics to one’s adversary that actually apply...

It contains such high-brow literary examples as calling Palin ‘white trash’, labeling her a ‘type’, and saying she has a ‘toned-down porn actress look’. Apparently, in an attempt to avoid looking sexist, she shoots off a verbal load against men (not for the first time no doubt), when she refers to Republican men as ‘sexual inadequates’.....
