Two weeks ago, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation published a piece by Toronto writer Heather Mallick that sprayed far Left elitism like blood from a cleanly-severed carotid artery. In it, she described supporters of Republican vice-Presidential nominee Sarah Palin as “white trash” and ascribed more insulting terminology to the Alaska governor and her family.

Which presumably makes this black columnist “white trash.” Curious…

There are certain points that occasionally need to be repeated, and one is the far Left’s practice of projection. Something taught in Psych 101 classes, it’s the psychological trait of ascribing characteristics to one’s adversary that actually apply to oneself. Whether intentionally or subconsciously, progressives (read far Left socialists) are consummate masters of this.

Inasmuch as those on the far Left are internationalists, it is no surprise that a Canadian journalist might be alarmed at recent developments in the current presidential election cycle in America. The choice of Sarah Palin has gained Republican nominee Sen. John McCain massive ground, while the camp of Democrat nominee Sen. Barack Obama has reacted like someone reflexively blowing soda pop through their nose after a shock.

The political left is caught in an interesting for of hypocrisy. They scream racism and pull the yellow flag of political correctness out every time they are beat at the ballot box, but feel justified in the most disgusting, sexist, and personal attacks on Sarah Palin.

Find a copy of Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radical”. What the left is doing is pure Karl Marx/Alinsky. If they could get away with assassination, belive me, that would not be ruled out. Character assassination and marginalization by implication is the next best stategy. The left is at WAR in spite of the fact that they preach peace, acceptance, and tolerance. Can’t we all COEXIST?

Machiavellians are by nature, hypocrits. The radical left is certainbly Machiavellian. It’s long past time to take off the gloves. This fight needs to get brutal.

While standing in line waiting to see Gov. Palin in Carson City, NV on the 13th, many of us were talking about this very thing! I talked to everyone from hockey moms with their daughters, hunting dads with their sons, women business owners, ranch owners and retirees. I also saw quite a few hispanics which was never reported in the media, of course! Everyone was laughing and commenting on how we were just a bunch of stupid hillbillies with a piece of hay hanging out of our mouths. HAHAHA! We all agreed though, that we were the ones who made the country run, paid our bills on time, do not want to watch actors and reporters spout their opinions. We just want to make a better America.....and that.... in the end....will be what wins in November!

The common wisdom is that because the Dems have been swift to register Hispanics, they're all in the liberal camp. They're not, and most of them would probably be much happier with the GOP, because they share the same values, life-style, etc. We need to do more outreach. This is NOT "pandering." The Dems - witness their offensive ad campaign last week - are trying to portray the GOP as anti-Hispanic, and we need to counter this.
