BOSTON FUNDRAISER: http://dyn.politico.com/members/forums/thread.cfm?catid=15&subcatid=52&threadid=5177270 ________________________ ________________________ - President Obama addressed a group of 152 Democratic donors at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. The walls were lined with enormous original oil portraits from the 16th century and guests are seated around about 24 round tables. Obama was introduced by Rep. Ed Markey, who called Obama the “true fulfillment” of JFK and Martin Luther King Jr.’s dream for America. In welcoming Nancy Pelosi, Obama called her “someone who’s going to go down as one of the greatest Speakers in our history: Nancy Pelosi.” “When the rubble had cleared, when the dust...

Brian Williams asked Obama how he felt to know that increasing numbers believe he is a Muslim. Obama responded by saying he can't go around with his Birth Certificate on his head, and completely ignored the question about his faith. See the video-http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KWPI5GOZJT4

“I can’t spend all of my time with my birth certificate plastered on my forehead,” quipped Obama, who took a deep breath to gather his thoughts when asked if the poll reflected his inability to communicate with voters. “The facts are the facts. We went through some of this during the campaign — there is a mechanism, a network of misinformation that in a new media era can get churned out there constantly,” said a visibly annoyed Obama, referring to “birthers,” who have waged a guerrilla campaign questioning either the existence or the validity of his Hawaiian birth certificate.

The release of two sets of State Department documents through a Freedom of Information Act request has given new life to the puzzle of how Barack Obama could have attended third grade in Hawaii, as claimed by a classmate, while he has stated he was living in Indonesia at the time. The indication Obama attended third grade in 1969 at Noelani Elementary School in Honolulu comes from an old photograph made public by classmate Scott Inoue. The informal photo shows Obama and Inoue against a background of what appears to be Christmas drawings by schoolchildren posted on a classroom bulletin...

The persistent quest for President Barack Obama's Hawaii birth certificate has died down since the state passed a law allowing it to ignore repetitive requests for the document. Far fewer "birthers," who claim Obama is ineligible to be president, have asked state officials to provide the document since the law was enacted in May, according to the state. The law has never even been put to use, said Department of Health spokeswoman Janice Okubo. The number of people seeking proof that Obama was born outside of Hawaii and the United States diminished without the law being invoked. Only about two...

A court hearing is scheduled for Friday in the case of an Army officer who has refused to deploy to Afghanistan because, in his view, President Barack Obama has not proven that he was born in the United States and is therefore ineligible to be president.

Last week, in response to a Freedom of Information Act request, the State Department released passport records of Stanley Ann Dunham, President Obama's mother – but those records for the years surrounding Obama's 1961 birth are missing. The State Department claims that a 1980s General Services Administration directive had resulted in the destruction of many passport applications and other "non-vital" passport records, including Dunham's 1965 passport application and any other passports she may have applied for or held prior to 1965. Destroyed, then, would also be any records shedding light on whether Dunham did or did not travel out of...

Rita the waitress was bubblier than a bottle of local Tusker beer. With a flourish, she threw back the cover of a bowl to reveal half-a-dozen toasted sandwiches. 'What sort of sandwiches?' she was asked. ' Carrot,' she beamed. 'And what's with the carrot?' 'Two carrots,' she replied triumphantly. That was a taste of the wonderful humour that was to accompany me throughout my nine-day safari seeking All The President's Grannies . . .

Just a day after Republican David Vitter became the first U.S. senator to voice support for groups challenging Barack Obama's presidential eligibility in court, a black congressional candidate from Indiana is joining the ranks. Marvin Scott was responding to call-in questions from campaign supporters recently when he was confronted with a question about his position on the eligibility issue: Scott, who is challenging Democrat incumbent Andre Carson, said, "Certainly, we have a right to know as citizens of this country. And that particular question has to be vetted over and over again to assure the public that the people who...

Let’s forget for a moment about the allegations that Barack Hussein Obama Jr. is not a naturalized U.S. citizen and examine the incontrovertible facts surrounding the reporting of his mysterious birth in 1961. Fact 1: Barack Obama Sr. (the President’s father) was married to another woman (Kezia Aoko) in Africa at the time of Barack Hussein Obama Jr’s birth to Stanley Ann Dunham Obama (the President’s mother). Fact 2: In the United States, being married to two women at the same time is illegal. It is the crime of bigamy. Fact 3: In 1961 someone placed a birth announcement in...
