A video of Silicon Valley princeling Gurbaksh Chahal assaulting his former girlfriend could finally land him in jail. The video is high quality, as might be expected of a surveillance camera in the penthouse bedroom of a high-tech princeling. The footage was so clear that San Francisco police were able to determine that Gurbaksh Chahal punched and kicked his girlfriend 117 times in 30 minutes. He also smothered her with a pillow for 20 seconds.

Before Gurbaksh Chahal was convicted of domestic violence and battery against his girlfriend and fired from his job as CEO of marketing firm RadiumOne, his rags-to-riches story had been touted as a case study in the push for comprehensive immigration reform. Chahal's family, Business Insider wrote in 2012, came from India to the United States with only $25 to their name. Less than two years after he dropped out of high school at 16, he sold an Internet company for $40 million.

Have you noticed how the mainstream media is hiding the fact the CEO of a big tech firm who was convicted of brutally beating his girlfriend was also a major Republican donor? If you are scratching your heads in disbelief, you have every right to do so. You know for sure that if such a thing took place, the very first paragraph if not the headline would have declared him to be a Republican donor. The reverse is actually true as NewsBusters' Contributing Editor Tom Blumer wrote on Friday. He googled the name of the convicted domestic beater, Gurbaksh Chahal,...

A high-dollar Obama donor who was caught on video brutally beating his girlfriend got off with 25 hours of community service last week after he pled guilty to domestic battery charges. CCTV footage caught Gurbaksh Chahal, the CEO of San Francisco tech startup RadiumOne, kicking his girlfriend 117 times, including blows to the head, and trying to smother her with a pillow during a vicious 30-minute assault. He faced 45 felony charges until the footage was deemed inadmissible. As a result, Chahal has managed to avoid jail time, the Daily Mail reported on Thursday.

The Democratic National Committee says it has returned $20,000 donated by a wealthy San Francisco Internet entrepreneur recently convicted of domestic violence. DNC spokeswoman Rebecca Chalif said Friday the organization has returned Gurbaksh Chahal’s 2014 contribution after discovering he pleaded guilty last week to misdemeanor domestic violence battery and battery charges. Chahal was sentenced to three years’ probation and faces no jail time. …
