Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said in a Thursday tweet that any Republican president or nominee eventually "will be accused of being a racist" as President Trump faces ongoing criticism for telling four lawmakers who are women of color to "go back" to where they came from. "If you are a Republican nominee for President – or President – you will be accused of being a racist," Graham wrote. "John Lewis compared John McCain’s campaign to being like that of George Wallace. It comes with the territory unfortunately." Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), one of the lawmakers Trump tweeted about, responded to...

July 15, 2019 (LifeSiteNews) – Evangelical leader Rev. Franklin Graham is speaking out against one of the LGBT lobby’s top congressional priorities, warning that the so-called Equality Act would have “catastrophic consequences” for both religious freedom and women’s rights if it became law. The Equality Act would amend the 1964 Civil Rights Act to include “sex,” “sexual orientation,” and “gender identity” among expressly recognized “non-discrimination” categories in “public accommodations” (the definition of which would be dramatically expanded); and force employers of 15 or more people to recognize their claimed “gender identity,” forbid them from “discriminating” based on “sexual orientation” or...

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s cross hairs Monday after the South Carolina lawmaker lashed out at the Queens congresswoman and her cohort of progressive female lawmakers known as “the Squad.” “I see @LindseyGrahamSC’s biggest issue w/ Trump’s racism is that it doesn’t go far enough – Graham wants to bring back 1950s McCarthyism, too,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted Monday after Graham went on “Fox & Friends” and called the lefty group “anti-Semitic,” “anti-America” and a “bunch of communists.” “GOP is doing this because they have no plan for our future,” Ocasio-Cortez continued. “We’re the ones fighting for...

Senate Judiciary Chairman Lindsey Graham told investigative reporter Sara Carter that his goal is to make sure Spygate documents get released to the public. President Trump gave Attorney General Bill Barr the authority to declassify Spygate documents several weeks ago yet we still haven’t seen anything. Senator Graham also hinted there are questions as to whether the investigation into Trump’s campaign started before Crossfire Hurricane began in July of 2016 (Hint: it did). Sara Carter reported: “The American people need to know, not from cable TV but from the documents themselves what actually happened,” Graham said. “I’m not going to...

Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said in a recent interview that he believes officials from the Obama administration are opposing the declassification of documents relating to the origin of the Russia probe because they are afraid of being “exposed for taking the law in their own hands.” During an appearance on “Fox News Sunday” with host Chris Wallace on May 26, Graham expressed his support for President Donald Trump’s decision to declassify the documents that related to the conduct of intelligence agencies like the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the FBI in 2016.

Sen. Lindsey Graham said House Speaker Nancy Pelosi would be committing “political suicide” if she tries to impeach President Trump. “Her job is very much at risk,” the South Carolina Republican told “Fox News Sunday.” “Nancy Pelosi is riding a bucking, wild bronco called the Democratic caucus.” He noted that 70 percent of the Democratic base backs beginning impeachment hearings against Trump. “She knows that impeachment would be political suicide because there’s no reason to impeach the president. So she’s trying to keep the party intact. If she goes down the impeachment road, Republicans take back the House, we keep...

Lindsey Graham’s comments Monday that Donald Trump Jr., should “plead the Fifth” during a testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee have sparked a social media campaign calling for the South Carolina Republican’s resignation. The hashtag “LindseyGrahamResign” trended on Twitter Tuesday after Graham told reporters Trump Jr.’s lawyer would “have to be an idiot” to permit the president’s eldest son to testify, adding that Trump Jr. should “just show up and plead the Fifth and it’s over with.” “This whole thing is nuts,” said Graham, who serves as the Senate Judiciary Committee chairman. “To me, it’s over.” On Sunday, Graham...

Sen. Graham: The media could care less about anything to do with Clinton they just want to 'get' Trump. Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham exclusively told "Sunday Morning Futures" that he is working to declassify a sensitive "document" that definitively proves that authorities knew the Steele dossier -- which the FBI used to justify the secret surveillance of a former Trump aide -- lacked any substantial independent corroboration. "There's a document that's classified that I'm gonna try to get unclassified that takes the dossier -- all the pages of it -- and it has verification to one side," Graham...

A miasma of defeat, desperation, and fear wafts over Washington officialdom in the aftermath of the Senate and House Judiciary hearings this week, with an undercurrent of leaked revelations of 2016 FBI spy operations abroad. Attorney General William Barr’s testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee on the Department of Justice’s investigation into Russian interference with the 2016 election, and his refusal to testify before House Judiciary Thursday, both revealed much about the new attorney general and the Democrats who sought to question him. At their heart, clownish performances aside, the hearings confirmed what we already knew: President Trump was legitimately...

During an interview on Fox News' "Sunday Morning Futures," Graham, said he hopes Barr will appoint a special counsel to look into potential political bias.
