A Prayer to get it started:
Lord God,
We are called to pray for our leaders and those in authority over us. Our prayer on this day of prayer is specifically for our President, Donald J. Trump.
President Trump is beset on every side with those who seek to injure him politically. That creates a situation where almost everything reported about him that is negative.
Therefore, we pray:
For his faith in Jesus Christ to be strengthened and that he rely upon our Lord at all times. We pray for your host to protect him from those who would do him physical, spiritual, and mental harm.
For his inner person to be shielded from the bitterness of others and from himself becoming bitter.
For his wisdom to originate in a fear of the Lord, and that it influence every decision he makes.
For his protection from his earthly enemies, but that he also be protected from the wiles of the devil.
For his decisions to always be based on what is truly good for our nation.
For his family that they be spared the hatred of the enemies, and especially so for his wife and young son.
For our nation's other leaders that they work in concert with President Trump to bring about peace, prosperity, and an environment favorable for the advancement of freedom of religion.
We pray in Jesus' name. Amen.

Lord watch over President Trump...guide his heart and mind and steps. Throw confusion into the camp of the enemy and let them turn on each other. In Jesus’ precious name.
