SHANGHAI (Kyodo) Two Japanese nationals in their 50s received heart transplants between 2001 and 2004 at a Shanghai hospital whose organs mainly come from death-row inmates, sources at a Taiwanese company that arranged the procedures said Thursday. Japan was seemingly unaware of the cases, as a survey released March 9 by the Health, Labor and Welfare Ministry said there were no cases of Japanese receiving heart transplants in Asia outside of Japan. Ethical and medical concerns have often been raised regarding organ transplants in China over issues that include the use of organs of prisoners on death row and uncertain...

The highlight, at least for some television watchers, of the first day of the Senate Judiciary Committee hearings on the nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, came when the young woman seated directly behind the nominee rested her right hand on her opposite elbow and pressed her index fingertip against her thumb, forming a kind of circle or OK sign. The meaning of this gesture was not lost on certain alert viewers. "Who is she? What's up with the white power sign?" tweeted one Keith R. Dumas, quoted by the Daily Caller. Elucidating tweets streamed in. From...

Parag Agrawal, the new Twitter CEO, follows a George Soros-funded anti-free speech group, and supported the Minnesota Freedom Fund bail fund for violent BLM rioters. On Monday, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey announced that he was stepping down from the position effective immediately, and that Twitter’s Chief Technology Officer, Parag Agrawal, would replace him. However, a number of previous comments came back to haunt Agrawal almost immediately. In an interview from November 2020 with Technology Review, Agrawal, in his position as Twitter’s CTO, said in response to a question about combatting misinformation, that Twitter should not be “bound by the First...

A group of four young men are wanted for robbing $20,000 worth of merchandise from an Apple Store, all caught on security cameras in broad daylight - the latest in a series of lootings across California.

For a former police commissioner, Charles Ramsay isn't much of a detective. On CNN's New Day this morning, former Philly police commissioner and senior CNN law enforcement analyst Ramsay twice confessed to being stumped for the reasons behind the current wave of smash and grab robberies. Said Ramsay: "Many of the young people we arrested had no previous criminal records. And why they were getting involved in something like this I have no idea . . . So I don’t know what’s driving this."But all the while, the answer was staring Ramsay in the face. In fact, he actually supplied...

A Northern California Apple store was targeted by thieves Wednesday in the latest smash-and-grab theft as mobs continue to commit brazen burglaries on retail shops in several U.S. cities. Four suspects walked into the Apple store just after 11:30 a.m. in Santa Rosa, 55 miles north of San Francisco, and stole more than $20,000 worth of merchandise in broad daylight in front of customers and staff, authorities said.

We tend to think of Black Friday as the day that we can pick up some good deals at the stores. But instead, we’ve been seeing people thinking they could get more than a good deal — a five-finger discount, in fact. It’s happening at expensive stores in Democratic cities, particularly in California when they know that because of leftist prosecutors there, they will likely not suffer any real consequences even if they are caught in the act. This is all courtesy of the Democratic policy of being lenient on crime. When even CNN is recognizing this as a problem in cities...

Career criminal Darrell E. Brooks Jr. has emerged as the top suspect accused of plowing his red SUV through Waukesha, Wisconsin’s annual Christmas parade on Sunday, killing at least five people and injuring dozens of others, including children. But just last week, Mr. Brooks was released from Milwaukee County jail on $1,000 bail for charges including battery, domestic abuse, reckless endangerment, resisting arrest and bail-jumping. In July of last year, Mr. Brooks was charged with reckless endangerment and possessing a firearm as a felon. In addition, he’s a registered sex offender in Nevada. “A background check from Wisconsin’s Department of...

It’s like people want you to know how far left they are at this point. Basically, tell us you could possibly be communists without telling us that you could possibly be communists. Wikipedia, probably one of the least reputable sources someone could use, now has a very specific article listing the number of “Mass killings under communist regimes” that is “being considered for deletion.” All of the disputes being raised against the validity of the article were done in September. The disputes argue the “neutrality” and “verfiability,” which is a made-up word, of the numbers related to deaths under communist...

Yesterday 8 year old Jackson Sparks succumbed to the injuries sustained when he was struck by a vehicle drive by Darrell Brooks. He was the sixth person to die in the Waukesha killing spree. At least 62 other were injured. Brooks was released from custody a couple of days before with a low bail after trying to run over a woman- the mother of his child. Milwaukee DA John Chisolm says it's all worth it. Chisolm, backed by George Soros, has been a champion for criminals for some time. Chisholm has been a leading figure among "progressive prosecutors," leftwing lawmen...

Yesterday 5 people were killed and at least 48 were injured in Waukesha, Wisconsin, when they were struck by an SUV blowing through a Christmas parade. The suspect is one Darrell Brooks, aka MathBoi Fly. Brooks has a long criminal record. In a case filed in July 2020, Brooks is accused of getting in a fight in a backyard and then taking out a gun and firing a shot at two people who were about to drive away. The victim had to accelerate to get away and avoid being shot, according to the criminal complaint. Brooks was charged in that...

The Waukesha District Attorney whose office let out parade killer Darrell Brooks on a $1,000 bond three weeks ago previously admitted he knew his laxed bail reform would lead to killers being set free and murdering others, saying flippantly in a 2007 interview: 'You bet, it's guaranteed to happen.' John Chisolm was elected as Milwaukee County District Attorney in 2007 and he immediately started advocating for lower cash bonds for criminals, like Brooks - a felon with a history of domestic violence charges who was most recently locked up for running over the mother of his children. In 2007, Chisolm...

"When we pay too little attention to the underlying causes and characteristics of individuals in the criminal justice system, we make significant errors, which can lead to greater problems," Milwaukee County district attorney John Chisholm wrote in a 2019 paper about criminal justice reform. That was before Chisholm conceded Monday that he had set an "inappropriately low" bail amount earlier this month when Darrell Edward Brooks Jr., the lead suspect in Sunday's deadly car rampage in Waukesha, Wis., was arrested for domestic abuse and eluding police. Chisholm has been a leading figure among "progressive prosecutors," leftwing lawmen who favor diversionary...

...But is he right? I’m skeptical. I’m not certain the “puppet masters” are necessarily “ideologues.” Take George Soros, for example. Listen to any of his speeches and you’ll notice a theme: He’s obsessively driven by bitterness over his father’s “humiliation” by Nazis and Hungarian fascists during WWII (his father, a prominent lawyer, was driven out of his profession and forced into hiding). It confuses some on the right when Soros refers to his youth under Nazi occupation as “the happiest time of my life” and “a positive experience.” Just as any leftist would, rightists hear those words and unthinkingly go...

A Swiss human experimenter, a Hungarian Nazi collaborator, and an Iranian tech tycoon walk into Washington D.C. What do you call them? The absentee owners of the Democrat Party. It’s not a joke. Unfortunately it’s grimly serious. Politico recently reported that the Sixteen Thirty Fund, the leading dark money machine of the Left, had pumped $410 million into Dem 2020 efforts to defeat Trump and Republicans. The Sixteen Thirty Fund had raised a record $390 million that year and half the money came from just 4 donors. While the names of the donors are secret, the article did note the...

Milwaukee prosecutors are conducting an internal review into their own office’s decision to make an "inappropriately low" bail recommendation for Darrell Brooks Jr., the person of interest in nearby Waukesha after an SUV plowed through a Christmas parade. Brooks has multiple pending cases in Milwaukee County – including a 2020 case involving two counts of second-degree recklessly endangering and being a felon in possession of a firearm, according to a spokesperson for Milwaukee District Attorney John Chisholm. Bail was originally set at $10,000 and later reduced to $7,500, the district attorney’s office said. But due to a court scheduling conflict...

Last night, an unimaginable horror visited Waukesha, WI as a red SUV plowed into a parade, striking children and adults alike. At least five people are dead per the latest reports. The purported assailant has been identified as Darrell E. Brooks, a “rapper” with a long history of criminal conduct. A look at Brooks’ criminal record is eye-opening and includes counts related to domestic and sexual abuse. Videos on his social media also point to him having black nationalist views, including promoting the “revolution.” ----SNIP--- Democrats, largely backed by George Soros, have sought to produce “criminal justice reform” by electing...

A leftist “dark money” group funded by liberal billionaire George Soros spent hundreds of millions of dollars in an obsessive effort to place Democrats in political power. The notorious Sixteen Thirty Fund “doled out a whopping $410 million in 2020” for the purpose of “aiding Democratic efforts to unseat then-President Donald Trump and win back control of the Senate,” according to Politico. Soros’s Open Society Foundations gave the Fund a sizable $33,523,483 between 2016 and 2020. This means that Soros’ four-year contributions compose roughly around eight percent of the total amount of money the Fund dumped to defeat Trump and...
