In case you somehow missed it, Joe Biden traveled to Detroit on Sunday to deliver a speech before the NAACP in which he attempted to apply some bandages to his bleeding poll numbers among Black voters. To put it mildly, things did not go well. Biden's rambling, confused persona was back on full display as he got a number of words wrong and told fanciful stories from his past that were obviously untrue and in at least a couple of cases physically impossible. But as with all official appearances, the White House was forced to release a transcript of the...

Something even stranger and more sinister than the Covid-19 virus is creeping across the USA: Joe Biden’s Flying Dutchman campaign which, like the ghost-ship of legend, plies the vasty electoral seas with a skeleton crew and no hope of ever landing. Late last week, the candidate blew into Yuma, AZ, for a rare, joint appearance with veep pardner Kamala Harris and, guess what, absolutely no civilians (i.e. voters) showed up at the event, though the local TV news had publicized it. Weird, a little bit? Face it: we’re living in the days of fantastic high-tech information mischief. Virtually all of...

China Joe Biden had another gaffe filled day on Friday during his appearances to small groups of supporters in Nevada. Biden was laughed at when he told supporters to sit down on the ground in their safety circle. Then later during a speech to a few supporters in Las Vegas, Nevada Joe Biden called for $15 million minimum wage.

Biden emerged from his Delaware basement on Sunday and delivered remarks on Covid from Philadelphia. The 77-year-old claimed that 200 million people will die from Covid by the time he finishes his speech.

CNN's media unit emails out a nightly newsletter titled "Reliable Sources." The newsletter is not always reliable, since it has a slippery grasp on what its own network is putting on television and online. On Aug. 3, Oliver Darcy led the newsletter discussing what he described as an "imaginary controversy": the notion that Joe Biden might skip the presidential debates. Darcy quoted Biden national press secretary T.J. Ducklo's spin. "Donald Trump and his allies at Fox News have decided an imaginary controversy about debates will be their latest attempt to distract Americans," Ducklo told Darcy. Under the header "Where it...

Even in perfect conditions with teleprompters to read from, Joe Biden still forgets what he's talking about. The presumptive Democratic presidential nominee is barely there. Appearing virtually at the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers' 2020 Virtual Political Conference on Wednesday, Biden appeared to be reading from a teleprompter when he repeatedly lost his train of thought.

Asked what could be done to address sexual violence and harassment against women, Biden said he’s authored the original Violence Against Women Act and that its reauthorization needs to pass. He also talked about changing the culture on college campuses and touted the “It’s on Us” movement created in the Obama Administration. “No man has a right to raise a hand to a woman in anger, other than self-defense and that rarely ever occurs,” he said. “So we have to just change the culture. Period.” Then he took it, maybe too far, adding, “And keep punching at it and punching...

“‘You know there’s an old Irish saying, there’s all kinds of old Irish sayings. My grandfather Finnegan, I think he made them up. But uh, it says, may the hinges of our friendship never go rusty. Well, with these two folks that you’re about to meet if you haven’t already, there’s no doubt about them staying oiled and lubricated here. Now for you who are not full Irish in this room, lubricated has a different meaning for us all.’” “‘If I hear one more Republican tell me about balancing the budget, I am going to strangle them. To the press,...

Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump's final rally before Tuesday's New York primary was marked by an unfortunate slip of the tongue, as the real estate mogul mistakenly mentioned the name of a popular convenience store chain in place of 9/11. Trump was about to deliver prepared remarks lauding New York values at Buffalo's First Niagara Center Monday night when he referred to 7-Eleven. "It's very close to my heart because I was down there, and I watched our police and our firemen down at 7/11, down at the World Trade Center right after it came down, and I saw the...

7/11, 9/11, it’s all the same to Donald Trump. The billionaire — who never visited the Sept. 11 Memorial & Museum in lower Manhattan until months after his campaign kicked off —seemed to have briefly forgotten the date the terrorist attack happened. “I wrote this out, and it’s very close to my heart,” he said at the First Niagara Center on Monday night during the rally. “Because I was down there and I watched our police and our firemen down at 7/11, down at the World Trade Center right after it came down. And I saw the greatest people I’ve...

Another oops for Vice President Joe Biden. He’s mistakenly referred to “President Clinton” instead of “President Obama.” Biden told a crowd of 1,200 people at Lakewood High School Sunday that a Republican ad claiming Jeep will move jobs out of Ohio was “pernicious,” and a sign that GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney is desperate to win the state. Biden says the ad claims “President Clinton bankrupted Chrysler so that Italians could buy it to ship jobs overseas to China.” Biden recently referred to Virginia’s Democratic Senate candidate Tim Kaine as “Tom” and complained to an Ohio audience about TV ads...

Bob Beckel got severely tongue-tied on Monday's "The Five" and "seemed to mistake" RNC chairman Reince Priebus' last name with a derogatory locker-room comment. The incident occurred when "Five" co-host Eric Bolling mentioned that President Obama dislikes presumptive GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney. Beckel replied "I've come to believe he is a terrible—well I won't say liar, I wont diminish myself to where Republicans or free (bleep)or prepus—"

Here is video of President Obama having trouble with the word “superfluous” as he spoke to a group of Kennedy Center Honorees. Notice he also read his script/teleprompter wrong as he began that sentence. He first read the quote as, “Too many people,” but corrected it with, “To many people…..” I could not see a teleprompter in the shot, but there could have been one in the back of the room.

Biden riles the crowd: 'You’re the dullest audience I’ve ever spoken to' By Jordan Fabian - 10/07/10 02:48 PM ET Vice President Joe Biden got a laugh from his audience at a Wisconsin fundraising event Thursday when he tried to rile the crowd about the economic collapse of 2008. “We want to reward people who manufacture things in the United States, in Wisconsin, not to take them overseas to China and to other countries!” he said to a silent room at the event for Democratic gubernatorial nominee Tom Barrett, according to a White House pool report. He continued, saying “You’re...

Notorious Democrat gaffe machine Joe Biden (and also current vice president) says he wants to strangle Republicans who have the nerve to tell him about balancing the federal budget. Biden was blurting out at a Democrat fundraising event in Dayton, Minnesota, late yesterday when he "let slip" a desire that many would see as being beneath the office of the vice president. Biden is notorious for unloading such gaffes, and he is certainly more known—in a very disreputable light—for what he lets slip out of his mouth than for anything that he’s actually accomplished as vice president in almost two...

The video is available at the link above. Of course the media will remain silent on this latest Reid gaffe/lie while they keep an obsessive watch on every syllable Sharron Angle utters to try to nail her on something. Reid also laughably claims that if the GOP had its way, GM and Chrysler would no longer exist. Someone ought to inform Dumbo Reid that without the illegal conversion of TARP funds into an auto bailout done by the Obama cabal they'd have been reorganized under Chapter 11 like the 3 major airlines were in the early 2000s and would have...

CLEVELAND (AP) -- In a campaign stop for a nominee for U.S. Senate, Vice President Joe Biden said Wednesday that Democrats may be vulnerable in the summer but voters will look at contrasts in the fall. "This is not about the next election," Biden told about 200 people at a fundraising lunch for Democrat Lee Fisher at the Great Lakes Science Center. "This is about the next generation." Biden, noting the science center overlooking Lake Erie, also said "Republicans don't believe in science.
