April 15, 2004, 11:13PM Trucks use FAST lane to cross border Associated Press LAREDO -- A high-tech fast lane aimed at cutting border wait times for some trucks from hours to minutes opened Thursday at the United States' busiest southern border port. The Free and Secure Trade, or FAST, lane at Laredo's World Trade Bridge is the second along the U.S.-Mexico border.
