    GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - Gainesville police arrested a man who stole and ate a woman’s $5 bill. According to the arrest report, Henry Chambers Jr. snatched a $5 bill from Kadisha Grant’s hand as it was being handed to her. The 60-year-old walked away, threatening Grant in the street. Chambers then said Grant would die before he returned the money, and proceeded to put the $5 bill in his mouth, chewed it, and swallowed it. Chambers was charged with felony robbery by sudden snatching and booked in the Alachua County Jail.
  • Crane Collapses On Fort Lauderdale Home

    A home in Fort Lauderdale is severely damaged after a crane toppled over on top it. It happened in the 1900 block of NE 57th Street on Friday around noon. Video from Chopper 4 shows the crane collapsed onto the roof and the cab turned over on its side. There are reports of at least one minor injury but it’s not know whether the person is the crane operator or someone in the house. This is a developing story and will be updated as much information is made available.
