The inspector general for the intelligence community said late Monday that the whistleblower whose complaint touched off an impeachment inquiry claimed to have firsthand knowledge of misconduct -- a claim that appears to conflict with documents sent to Congress and the director of national intelligence. The lengthy statement Monday was posted in response to questions, raised in the media and by congressional Republicans, about the disclosure form filed by the whistleblower, who first flagged concerns about President Trump's July phone call in which he asked the leader of Ukraine to "look into" actions by former Vice President Joe Biden and...

A federal grand jury in Washington has approved the first criminal charges in the special counsel’s investigation into Russian election interference, two sources told NBC News, marking a significant milestone in an inquiry that has roiled Donald Trump’s presidency. Mueller's Office of the Special Counsel will make public an indictment on Monday, a U.S. official with firsthand knowledge of the process confirmed to NBC News, without disclosing the name of the target or the nature of the charges. The timing was confirmed by a second source familiar with the matter.

I am not a writer but will do the best I can. I arrived about 10:30ish. Was actually surprised that I was able to find a parking space relatively close to Lee Park. In fact I thought that perhaps the turnout wouldn't be as big as I was anticipating because I didn't see much at first and I was only 5 blocks from ground zero but I was wrong. By the time I had walked one block toward the park the police presence was strong. Many in riot type gear. They had most streets and walkways blocked off funneling everyone...

1/27/2006 - TYNDALL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. (AFPN) -- For many children, it’s an experience they’ve already been part of when Mom or Dad prepare for deployment -- the processing, the goodbyes, the welcomes home. But this time they got to experience it firsthand in Operation Jr. R.A.P.T.O.R, or Real Air Patriots Training on Readiness. More than 190 youth from the child development center and youth center participated in the program Jan. 20 to 21. It was designed to give them a hands-on look at the deployment process. Groups of children went through a “processing line” on Jan. 20. Stations...

Breathless, the gunman dashed up the hill, blood smeared on his face. Five bullets from an IDF sniper had whistled through Rafah's Tel e-Sultan neighborhood Tuesday afternoon, badly wounding two of his fellow gunmen as they took cover in a nearby house, but apparently missing him. Less than a minute passed before an ambulance screamed to the site, dumped the wounded aboard, and sped away. Dozens of children and teenage boys, curious bystanders and supporters of the resistance against Israel, pointed the way to ambulance drivers. The Gaza Strip's southernmost city of Rafah, the epicenter of the fiercest fighting between...

XXXXing howdy. Mister M. here, from Al Thawra, Baghdad, Iraq. Although right now you can call me Specialist M. For some of you, I suppose I could use an Introduction. I am 23 years old, and I used to be a columnist for 8BM.com before I joined the U.S. Army. My military occupational specialty is that of a 13B, an artilleryman. I was deployed to the Middle East as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom on April 1st, 2003, as some kind of sick April Fool's joke. On April 10th, I crossed the berm from Kuwait into Iraq near the village...
