The father of cancel culture, who worked closely with David Brock of Media Matters, has died tragically. Hillary Clinton said she was “devastated” after the father of cancel culture, famous media critic, 57, Eric Boehlert died when he and his bike collided with a train in Montclair, New Jersey. The 57-year-old created the Press Run website and wrote for Rolling Stone and Media Matters for America, among others. Many reporters and blue checks are mourning his loss. He was very good at what he did. Boehlert leaves behind a wife and two children. He was prominent among the Left, especially...

It’s hard to recall a former politician who was showered with more free media attention than Chris Christie this month as he peddled his new book, “Republican Rescue.” Invited to appear on a carousel of shows, Christie was all-present as journalists lined up to interview him. CNN even dedicated an entire primetime hour to him, treating the in-your-face Republican as one of the most important political voices in the country. Consumers aren’t buying it. A senior publishing source with access to the industry’s BookScan tabulations tells me that “Republican Rescue” sold just 2,289 copies during its first week in stores,...

It’s easy to see why the American Left loved Sami al-Arian. Leftists hate Israel, too. Longtime FrontPage readers will remember Sami Al-Arian, the former University of South Florida professor who for years was a darling of the Leftist intelligentsia. IPT News reported Monday that he has resurfaced, but that the stalwart old Jew-hater hasn’t changed: while he has reined in his rhetoric a bit and speaks in a more civilized manner, he is still calling for Israel’s destruction, which would result in the murder of millions of Jews. Back in 1991, during a speech in Chicago, al-Arian screamed: “The Quran...

The mainstream media always seems to be in amazement when they find out that the American people don't trust them. In fact, when President Donald Trump said the media is the enemy of the people, folks at MSNBC and CNN took it personally, as if the statement wasn't true. Time and time again, we see leftist media personalities say outlandish things and Sunday morning was no exception. MSNBC analyst Eric Boehlert claimed, "Fox News has been getting people killed for years." He made the comment during a segment on the Wuhan coronavirus when host Joy Reid pointed to an opinion...

The Press vs. Al GoreHow lazy reporting, pack journalism and GOP spin cost him the election One month after formally kicking off his presidential campaign, Vice President Al Gore paddled down the Connecticut River in New Hampshire on July 22nd, 1999, spreading his green theme of protecting the environment and pausing for a photo op. His message was quickly drowned out, though, when the Washington Times' Bill Sammon reported that local authorities had granted Gore a special favor when they released nearly 4 billion gallons of water from a nearby dam into the drought-stricken river in order to keep the ...

Media Matters' Senior Fellow Eric Boehlert slammed America's Navy SEALs as 'gutless' on the same day that two are killed in a helicopter crash in Afghanistan.

FWI- @AndrewBreitbart is in twitter fight right now. There are a bunch of Soros People putting out admitted false stories about him cheating on his wife with a man. They are feeding it to the press saying they have someone claiming to have slept with him. their justification is that he did it to Wiener so they are just doing it back to him. It is a coordinated attack from the left playing out on twitter and worth watching.

Media Matters: How They Deceive and Why It Matters Posted by Lee Stranahan Apr 1st 2011 Yesterday, I did a piece showing how Media Matters used deceptive editing techniques on the Fox / Bill Sammon story. I’m still waiting to hear back from Sammon before I do part two but I wanted to show you a couple of more videos that I’ve done in the meantime. The first one shows how Media Matters used the ‘straw man’ fallacy to attempt to discredit the piece published by Lila Rose yesterday on the Mammosham story. As I say in the video, your...

Like Dogs to Vomit, Media Matters Cleans Up Liberal Media Messes Just like dogs that merrily slurp vomit to the last chunk, bloggers at the Democratic party front group Media Matters for America follow behind liberal media outlets, lapping up their latest noxious dousing of conservatives. Then with a satisfied smirk, Media Matters gloats "what vomit?" when conservatives complain about being puked on by the press. The latest example of Media Matters' vomit fetish is their defense of the attempted smear of Sarah Palin during her humanitarian trip to Haiti last weekend by the Associated Press and others as a hair-obsessed...

After years of denial, Sami Al-Arian has finally admitted it: he has pleaded guilty to a charge of “conspiracy to make or receive contributions of funds to or for the benefit of Palestinian Islamic Jihad, a Specially Designated Terrorist” organization. He has agreed to accept deportation. In his 2002 defense of Al-Arian, Eric Boehlert wrote: “The al-Arian story reveals what happens when journalists, abandoning their role as unbiased observers, lead an ignorant, alarmist crusade against suspicious foreigners who in a time of war don't have the power of the press or public sympathy to fight back.” Reality is just the...

The forbidden truth about Jayson BlairIt's the issue nobody at the New York Times wants to discuss: Were a reporter's flagrant journalistic abuses overlooked because he's black? - - - - - - - - - - - -By Eric BoehlertMay 15, 2003 | In 2000 the New York Times published an ambitious 14-part series, titled "How Race Is Lived in America," examining racial attitudes and experiences as told through the lives of ordinary Americans. The project, produced by a team of 34 staffers over 14 months, ran for six weeks and won the Times a Pulitzer Prize for national...

The indictment of a former Florida professor on charges of being a Palestinian terrorist has cast a very different light on some past punditry. After flying to Tampa to interview him, New York Times columnist Nicholas Kristof wrote last year that the University of South Florida's attempt to fire Sami Al-Arian shed light on "what kind of universities we desire, how much dissent we dare tolerate and how we treat minorities in times of national stress." He noted that the proceedings began after "Bill O'Reilly invited Mr. Al-Arian on his Fox News show and virtually accused him of being a...
