The Democrat-majority North Carolina State Board of Elections (NCSBE) blocked presidential candidates for the Justice for All Party (Cornel West) and the We the People Party (Robert F Kennedy, Jr.) from November's general election ballot. They approved the Constitution Party's candidate (Randall Terry). NCSBE member Alan Hirsch explained "it's not that we disapprove of the views of either Mr. West or Mr. Kennedy. They are acceptably left-of-center, but that's the problem. President Biden is also left-of-center. Having these three men split the left-of-center vote can only work to the advantage of Donald Trump." "The reason for our approval of the...

My organization sponsors a quarterly poll in conjunction with our magazine. Meeting Street Insights conducts the poll for us. For our Summer issue, we thought it would be interesting to poll young people in Minnesota, which we defined as ages 18 through 34. To my knowledge, no one has done this before. We asked young Minnesotans not about their views on politics or policy, but about their lives and concerns. The results were stunning. Young people in Minnesota are deeply pessimistic about their futures, and their country’s future. We asked respondents whether their generation is better off economically than their parents’...

Former President Donald Trump’s selection of Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance might surprise you, but it shouldn’t. The 39-year-old first-term senator is a solid, smart pick who will not only bring youth, energy and vigor to the ticket, but also a wealth of hard life experience, highly unusual for someone so young. Trump’s announcement gave the bare bones of why he selected Vance over the many others who vied to be his running mate: After lengthy deliberation and thought, and considering the tremendous talents of many others, I have decided that the person best suited to assume the position of Vice...

Donald Trump’s takeover of the Republican Party shows itself in the platform priorities approved here at the convention and the people who are now influencing the Illinois Republican Party. With all the hoopla from inside the convention hall at Milwaukee’s Fiserv Forum, it’s easy to miss the people left outside of the arena and the party. Among them: Adam Kinzinger, who was once viewed as the future of the GOP. He was a fresh-faced military vet who, as a congressman, voted with Trump more than 90 percent of the time. But then he committed the Cardinal Sin of today’s GOP:...

Preliminarily, let me say what I wrote yesterday: Trump’s near miss seems to have an element of Divine Providence to it, reminiscent of how George Washington invariably emerged from the heat of battle unscathed. Just sayin’. Now, to the topic at hand, which is the Secret Service’s performance before, during, and after the assassination attempt. It wasn’t good. Ironically, just yesterday, I finished reading Lee Child’s Without Fail, which was published in 2008. In it, Jack Reacher works with the female head of the Vice President’s Secret Service detail to help foil an assassination attempt. Unlike most Reacher novels, this...

Nearly half of 80,000 small businesses surveyed say they won’t survive the current economic climate, ongoing inflation or another four years of Biden administration policies, according to the survey conducted by RedBalloon and Public Square. Their May Freedom Economy Index found that small businesses “remain in survival mode,” with 40% delaying paying bills to manage cash flow and 70 percent putting staffing plans on hold, neither hiring nor reducing staff, “the highest reading … over the past year,” the report states. Among those surveyed, 64% said the U.S. is headed toward stagflation, when inflation continues to climb and the economic...

Grassroots group tells The Federalist the Jersey GOP is more interested in electing preferred governor candidate in 2025 than Trump in ’24.A conservative activist looking to get a ballot harvesting initiative up and running in New Jersey tells The Federalist that the state GOP is more interested in helping their preferred Republican gubernatorial candidate — marked as a “Never Trumper” — win in 2025 than helping the soon-to-be GOP presidential nominee take back the White House in November. Deep Blue New Jersey has a chance to turn red this election year, some very enthusiastic Republicans insist. But a local GOP...

The Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act passed on Wednesday by a vote of 221 to 198. In total, 216 Republicans and five Democrats voted to pass the bill, while 198 Democrats voted against the measure. In May, Representative Chip Roy, a Texas Republican, introduced the SAVE Act, which would require those registering to vote to provide documentary proof of United States citizenship. It is already illegal for noncitizens to register to vote or to vote in federal elections. The bill had 104 Republican co-sponsors, including top House Republicans such as House Majority Leader Steve Scalise of Louisiana, Majority Whip Tom...

What genius advised President Joe Biden, post-debate, to “get out more in unscripted settings”? ABC’s George Stephanopoulos asked Biden whether he watched the debate. Biden’s response? “I don’t think I did, no.” During this short interview, we saw softball questions followed by mumbled answers and frequent incoherence. Subtitles would have helped, or perhaps Stephanopoulos could have hired Shohei Ohtani’s translator. Biden said there were only two polls where he was behind Donald Trump. Biden named one poll and struggled to name the second. But Stephanopoulos stepped in and threw Biden a lifeline by naming the second poll. Biden said he...

Governor Brad Little and Secretary of State Phil McGrane announced today Idaho is the first state to take executive action to ensure Idaho’s voter rolls remain free of non-citizens. Governor Little signed Executive Order 2024-07, the ONLY CITIZENS WILL VOTE Act, to protect election integrity, voter confidence, and the sanctity of voting. “Idaho already has the most secure elections in the nation, and we’re going to keep it that way. My executive order – the ONLY CITIZENS WILL VOTE Act – directs Secretary of State Phil McGrane to work with local county clerks to scrub our voter rolls and make...

Walter Ringfield Jr., the 27-year-old man accused of stealing an electronic tabulator key from the Maricopa County Elections Department last month, has been charged in three other thefts within the past year. In the other cases, Ringfield has been indicted by a grand jury for theft and burglary, both felonies, as well as criminal trespass, a misdemeanor. [snip] Days later, police...

A national election watchdog group has joined a pair of New York Republican Congresswomen challenging the state's mail voting law in court. The Public Interest Legal Foundation filed an amicus curiae brief with the state Supreme Court supporting Rep. Elise Stefanik, Rep. Claudia Tenney, and other New York elected officials in their lawsuit challenging a state law allowing universal mail voting. The Democratic-controlled New York legislature approved a law in 2021 allowing New York voters to cast ballots through the mail. Gov. Kathy Hochul, a Democrat, signed the measure into law. The move followed the rejection of a constitutional amendment...

The recent French election illustrated that elites will happily ally with left-wing radicals just to prevent the right from winning. After a promising first-round lead, France’s right-wing National Rally party came up short in the second round of the country’s legislative election. It ultimately came in third for seats in the National Assembly, France’s lower house, behind left-wing coalition New Popular Front (NFP) and French President Emmanuel Macron’s centrist alliance, Ensemble.More than 300 contests in the first round proceeded to a three-way runoff involving National Rally, the NFP, and Ensemble. If those three-way races had gone ahead, National Rally had a...

For the first time since former President Bill Clinton was in office, Democrats are under media scrutiny, and it’s breaking them. Americans have known for years that regime media acts as the propaganda arm of the Democrat Party. Every story and narrative is carefully crafted to ensure they look like a rose while painting Republicans as angry, out-of-touch fascists. However, since the debate, the regime has been turning on President Biden and his administration for the first time in recent memory, and it’s obvious they are unprepared to handle adversarial media. Journalists were waiting on Monday as First Lady Jill...

WASHINGTON D.C. — Republicans caused outrage and horror today among people who would never cheat in elections with the introduction of a new ‘Stop Cheating In Elections' Bill. Congressional Republicans insisted that the bill would simply prevent cheating in elections and ensure that they are fair, while people who would never cheat insisted that the problematic bill targeted them. "I want to be clear. This bill is racist, xenophobic, transphobic, and possibly arachnophobic," Said Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. "It's not the ‘no cheating' part that bothers us because obviously we would never, ever cheat. But it's outrageous that Republicans would...

“… [W]e’re done accommodating you lunatics. it’s time for actual adults to return to the room and supplant the squalling squalor you have inflicted upon us, our economies, our cultures, and our institutions.” — El Gato Malo on Substack. Imagine: President “Joe Biden,” on the deck behind his Rehoboth Beach house Sunday evening before a most consequential week. He just declared to the nation that only an “act of God” will prevent him from running for re-election. Dr. Jill has gone inside for another martini, extra-dry, no vermouth, no ice, no olive. . . no glass. Chief advisor, Hunter Biden,...

Elon Musk has warned that Democrats are planning to steal more federal elections by allowing people who are not U.S. citizens to vote. According to Axios, House Democrats are predictably planning to strike down legislation that would require proof of U.S. citizenship to vote in federal elections. Responding to podcaster Tim Pool, Musk said the reason that Democrats are doing this is because they “want to cheat” in federal elections, as they have done repeatedly over recent election cycles. ... huge numbers of non-citizens are allowed to vote in federal elections, in many cases actively encouraged or solicited to do...

The French election results showed that the “alliance of dishonour” between President Emmanuel Macron and the far left effectively blocked the populist National Rally from gaining a majority despite the Le Pen party having won the most votes. According to the French Interior Ministry, Marine Le Pen’s National Rally (RN) won the most votes of any party during Sunday’s second round of the snap legislative elections at over 8.7 million, good for 32.05 per cent of the vote. When combined with their electoral alliance partners from disputed Les Républicains president Eric Ciotti, who earned nearly 1.4 million, good for 5...
