    BELLEVUE — A 5-year-old Bronx boy quarantined with a fever after a recent trip to West Africa tested negative for the Ebola virus Monday night, city health officials said. "The result of the test is negative," the city Department of Health reported. "Out of an abundance of caution, further negative Ebola tests are required on subsequent days to ensure that the patient is cleared. The patient will also be tested for common respiratory viruses.
