U.S. Rep Jesse L. Jackson Jr. recently unraveled the "mystery of Jamalli" and with it brought into the open the festering sore beneath the Peotone airport controversy. In addition to this Jamalli nonsense (racially suggestive e-mails generated from his personal e-mail account), Mayor Mike Einhorn of Crete has sparred recently with Mayor Dwight Welch of Country Club hills over Welch's assessment that opposition to the ALNAC airport plan was steeped in racism.
