Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL), the former chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee, hit back at critics suggesting she tilted her party’s primary process in favor of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton over Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT). “I will be frank with you,” she said. “If I was trying to rig the outcome of the primary, trust me, I could have — there are so many things that we, not I, we could have done to enhance the campaign of one candidate over another.”
